There's a pair of great tits (yes, yes, I know) nesting in the bottom of a Greek urn in our garden. I watch them go inside every few minutes with a beak-full of caterpillars, grubs and insects.

Mowing my lawn is always a pain, especially since I now have to keep a close eye out for snakes that easily blend in with the hundreds of dried Catalpa seed pods lying on the ground. I just chase them away into the safety of the wall of Forsythia growing on the edge of our yard.

I pay Polish people to mow my lawn.
