She knew it was a toothbrush. It was just the cleaning device she knew the location of. We don't often ask her to wash dishes as she can't reach the sink.

For a second I thought she had done it taunt you :P

Unlike WoF, I am not proud of my mess. Thus I do not take photos except for when I've just done a clean-up.

In any case, you can't really see the floor in any of those photos.

But what could have been on the dishes that would be unhygeinic enough to justify boiling? I mean... surely all she was cleaning from them was food?

Yeah, I would certainly boil my toothbrush after that. Using a brush filled with old food particles to brush one's teeth makes the entire act of doing so kind of pointless.

Although to be fair, it's part of what you're putting onto the toothbrush every time you use it.

Are you saying you don't rinse it thoroughly after using it?

I find it's easier to just buy a new one.

every time you take a shit in the bathroom, you're spreading particles onto your toothbrush. i know you all knew that, just reminding you.

I'm saying a rinse would have to be 100% thorough to remove every molecule of foodstuff. So in that sense, no, I don't.

No wonder some people have perpetually bad breath.
