Ghost isn't going to stop posting anime shit. I won't pretend I'm the biggest fan of it or that I'm not sick of it occasionally pooping up threads, but short of some kind of serious consequence Ghost is not taking our irritation seriously.

On the subject of this blog specifically: I think WoF is entitled to just take a break without me or whoever else going "WOAH BRO YOU LEAVING" on MSN when we find out. Belying that it was thoughtless to punt MA's blog down (I'm a bit of hypocrite in that sense, too.) This was entirely unnecessary and just kind of weird and stupid.

Shaman: I don't care how many plays you're in, this is no place for drama. DI isn't cyberbullying by telling Ghost to step it down a notch. I don't think calling you a fatty was particularly nice, but calling someone who actually has a pretty valid point a "surly cunt on an undeserved high horse" is just fucking uncalled for. Who the fuck is Ghost to announce to the community that Joe is taking a break? Why should other people acknowledge that sometimes their hobbies get in the way of actual discussion (See: Me flaking it up about toys) but she shouldn't?

DI: If Ghost isn't going to acknowledge that the vast majority of us DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANIME and DON'T GET ANY OF THE FUCKING IN-JOKES, block her. Yeah, you shouldn't have to, yeah, she should just clean up her goddamn act, but she won't, so what the fuck else is there?

I'd like a serious answer out of Ghost for this one, too: Why don't you stop posting about Anime? Why do you feel the need to when the only person who gets it is Joe?

Okay. There are things that we know.

Fact 1: Joe has the entertainment tastes of a nine year old girl.

Fact 2: Joe and Ghost have a habit of posting those vile entertainment tastes anywhere and everywhere they can.

Fact 3: Joe is probably the kindest, sweetest, and most caring person on this forum. He might as well have the title of White Knight as he will try to nurse, console, and defend anyone who is feeling bad or being mistreated. He has something that many of us lack.

Now, I'm not saying that he's above reproach, but I think that a great deal of the anime that they post is part of a joke that we're in on. We know he likes this queer shit. We make fun of him for it. But it's usually playful. So he plays it up. He gives us the ammunition to fuck with him because we are all having fun with it for the most part.

We love you, Joe. Even if my daughter does have more mature taste than you do.

But I do generally agree with you about his character, OANST. He's a good guy. That's probably why the anime shit irks me to such a great degree. If it was a once in a while thing, fine. But it's constant, and it's everywhere.

Because I think parts of it, at least the parts I dig up, compartmentalize, and put here, are rather wonderful and worth sharing. Sure, I have a hit rate of less then 0.02%, but I want to share something I love with ya'll. Joe's kinda like my "dun worry, I thought it was good, you'll get it right next time!" guy. I don't see it as any different from Youtube poop, scary videos, shitty metal, western movies and TV, Terry pratchett books, video games, etc.

Plus, I thought I toned it down enough for you guys a while back, because nobody was complaining except DI and Sekto, and they're a pair that I started filtering out a while ago.
