Fucking Spiders.

And other annoying pests. It just started to warm up here a few weeks ago, and that means bugs. Just had to kill a fairly large spider in my kitchen. I fucking hate bugs and spiders. Every time I kill one I fear a tiny army of its babies will emerge for vengeance. Because that happened when I was little when my grandma killed a spider that was apparently carrying its children. If that happened today, Id probably burn the house down trying to kill them all. Also, whenever I see one, I immediately feel they have a colony in the house. That they can now be anywhere, especially my bed.

Anyone else hate these creatures as much as I do?

I found a spider between my two mattresses once. A highly venomous spider, at that! Our house is prone to baby redbacks inside and massive adults outside. We also get an tri-annual giant huntsman, and the occasional lizard.

Creeps the fuck out of me.

I own a Tarantula. She's kept in a Terrarium, but I see almost no bugs in my room ever.

We do have a problem with moths in my kitchen, however.

I hate those massive huntsman cunts that always seem to pop up in corners and hard to reach places. And large spiders in general, I don't mind little ones at all, even though they usually turn out to be redbacks and white tails..

I cannot stand spiders being too close to me. The bigger they are, the more distance I feel I need to between me and it, with the minimum being about a meter.

I'm not comfortable with spiders at all, especially large, fast-moving ones. But I'm much more relaxed about them now than when I was as a child.

I'm perfectly ok with spiders. Large, small, i'm comfortable. I never knew the phobia was so common amoung my fellow forumers.

I think spiders are cute and fascinating creatures. I used to hate them, but now I just hate their web because it's so damn icky when I get it in my face. Also I once had a really terrible nightmare about lizards with web on their faces. And then there was suddenly chronic spider web on my own face, and ever since I've just hated spider webs. Ick.

I'm okay with them. If I see one, I might get startled and one crawling on me would freak me out for a moment, but then again, any other bug doing that would too. I can't stand bees, wasps, or any other flying insect that can bite or sting you, though.

Yeah, really. You guys are fucking pussies, especially you OANST. Pussy.
Spiders (in America at least), are pretty harmless with the exception of the brown recluse whose bite can make your entire arm rot off in under a month if not tended to.

As far as bugs go, spiders are elegant and peaceful little guys. And they're certainly not pests, they eat the pests.

Craneflies or house centipedes, now those are alot more irksome. I make a point of not killing spiders, but I won't hesitate to stomp a house centipede or cranefly into oblivion.

not keen on harvester spiders or earwigs, but that's about it. i wouldn't kill them, though. i've have that drummed into my head since i was a nipper.

i've got a spider in my room at the moment actually, keeping any flies away. i noticed this morning he's made an extension to his web, too.

i must stop dragging dead bodies into my room.
