Stress can do many things to you

Posted 04-15-2010 at 03:35 PM by T-nex
Yea... So as some of you know, I've been incredibly stressed lately. With 3 assignments to finish, an exam on 19th and lots and lots of reading to do, I've barely even had time to go out and buy grocery and stuff like that.

Oh and thank god for skype. Tomorrow(which is technically today as it's past 12) is my Mom's birth day. Yup. And guess what. If it hadn't been for that damn skype notification, I would have forgot.

I just have one problem. i haven't gotten her anything at all, and I cant even be with her tomorrow as I actually planned to meet up with s group of people who are also taking the exam on 19th and study.

I guess I may walk around the city for half an hour before I go meet them though. Maybe I'll find something for my mom quick, and I can give it to her later.
But I don't even know what to friggin give her.
Sometimes I feel I don't know her well enough. I'd give her a book, but then I'm wondering if she has time to read it. Well she must at some points. Books are fun anyway, but I don't know what her tastes are. I remember that she really liked immortal fairytales(Fairytales who will never be forgotten). She especially likes stories such as Ulysses and Greek mythology and all that. But I don't know if she likes that anymore.

Gah... I just have no idea at all. I suck.

Oh and I had a terrible nightmare today about a giant tsunami. I've been having a lot of those catastrophic dreams lately. I think I'm getting phobic or something. Or perhaps they are premonitions!!!

Contrary to popular belief, you can go wrong with chocolate.

However, if you're really stuck for ideas, fancy chocolate will at least let her know you care.

Make her something. Big or small, parents love that stuff more than anything.
