Yes, there was a patient on it. He got thrown off on the ground when the bed slammed into the MRI. He had some minor injuries but nothing serious.

Apparently there was a door open that shouldn't have been and the nurse just wheeled the next patient in there on a metal bed.

Sheesh. My mom said they ask you if you any metal in your eye at all becasue the magnet could ruin your vision by ripping it out.

Yeah, they do. I was worried about it ripping out a metal tooth filling but that didnt happen. You also get headphones inside the machine so you can communicate with the operator and listen to the radio, even though the cable running from them was seemingly hollow. Alien technology..

I had eye surgery once because of some rusty metal shrapnel that flew into my left eye. They had to scan to see if there was any of it resting at the bottom of my eyeball....

Fortunately they chose the CAT scan.
