College! :D
I hope anyway. To put it simply, since I was laid off, my family is now losing their car. So we have one really old truck. My mother was laid off as well and we're both on unemployment. The problem is, I don't have enough money for a car and won't be able to get a job at all now because she has to use the truck. So, not even 48 hours after being on unemployment, I have to get off of it. I don't have a lot of money in my account, and no way of getting more, so I decided to be a dumbass and take a huge risk: Apply for college.
My only hope is that I get financial aid so I can go. I want to go to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, as they have a Game Media & Design course I want to take. It's gonna be hard and I've got to really develop my art skills (I need a portfolio to even be accepted x_x) before I go. I know I can do it, I just need a lot of recap. It's a matter of getting accepted. Because that school also offers job thingies.. er. Basically, you have quarterly portfolio reviews and potential employers come by to look. And if I'm not mistaken, they have a financial office and, if you talk to them, they can help you find a part time job.
Basically, if I'm accepted, I'll be flying out there with the clothes on my back and whatever luggage I can carry. It'll be like completely starting over. And I HAVE to do very well, or basically I'm going to be stuck living with my family until the economy improves - which I can't see happening any time soon. And I sure as hell am NOT failing this. I just have to hope there's something up there on my side.
