It happened some time ago actually... a week I think. So I just noticed that all the forums were read and contained no unread posts except the oddworld rpg one. I decided to view all over there too and got all the threads on the forum marked as read.

It's because the image is wider than the blog; the blogs will turn them into a link if they're too wide to fit.

No, it's because the URL isn't an image URL; it doesn't end in any image file extension. vBulletin doesn't know what to do with it.
