My peers are ignorant, narrow minded and unthinkingly prejudiced.

I was scared to death throughout that Psychology tutorial, I just couldn't believe the lack of critical thought and amount of tabloid sensationalism being practised by twenty year old second year university students.

Also I was/am high on energy drinks, this might have been part of the problem.

But seriously, I feel so isolated from the majority in terms of beliefs and opinions.

Scaaaaary.

The reason for this is: You're in Glasgow.

Yep, and you'll be just like them in a couple of years. It has that effect.

I don't even know what Glasgow is. It's that Scottish retreat off the coast of Norway, right?

I've already sacrificed a lot of things for my convictions, there is no way I'm becoming more conservative now.

Nikki. I sacrificed her on the altar of Thor earlier today so that the Allfather may grant me a sip from the well of Urd.

But... I'm right here.. Dunno who the hell you sacrificed, but it sure as hell wasn't me ... you may find an angry Thor at your doorstep soon.

Eugenics, punishment for punishment's sake, determinist capital punishment and the cardinal sin of using rhetoric in arguments believing that if you say something emphatically enough it makes your point valid.

There was also quite a lot of throwing around of sensationalist slogans and terms that I'd expect to find in a GCSE class.

It's quite sad that my first thought on reading that was "Yeah, so what?". I honestly think that if you'd been in a class of 20 year olds in just about any western country today that you'd hear the same set of opinions.

Many people go through that stage. Then they grow up.
