Sigh. It's very simple. Hamburgers were invented in the German town of Hamburg. In German the suffix -er is used for nationality. In the same way that something from Cheltenham is a Cheltonian, something from Hamburg is a Hamburger.

I was just pointing out that you ought to be able to find better ways of amusing yourselves than being incredibly insulting to members who have already left. I wasn't necessarily referring to any individual.
