Medical update.

Had my neurology appointment today, though it was more of a meet and greet.

I'm scheduled for a battery of tests and scans next week, but it sounds like I'm suffering from chronic migraines, and possibly petit mal seizures brought on by said migraines. Although tumors/legions are apparently still a very real possibility.

As a result, I've been prescribed the anti seizure medication Topamax, which also apparently works wonders in the ole' migraine department.

On the lighter side of things, I continue to be a fucking all-star at work, and am making good connections with the program coordinator and program manager, which is neat.

We also put up our Christmas tree last week, which in addition to looking wonderful, has infused our home with a lovely pine scent.

Speaking of pregnancy, the fetus is officially a girl. We've decided on Zoe for a first name, but have no clues as far as the middle is concerned. I welcome your suggestions.

If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't actually named after someone who died in the holocaust; rather, Great Uncle Samuel was killed by the Siamese when they wanted to show support for their Japanese invaders by murdering all the whitefolk in the country. And if that doesn't disgust you enough, he was a doctor with the Red Cross!

I think you mentioned that Cthulhu thing before. How did she pronounce it?
I believe she pronounced it incorrectly, but I can't remember exactly how.

And his great nephew went into computers, GOOD LORD, JUST STOP.

I've heard it as "Klooloo," but I'm not sure.

Pills can be a pain in the arse. My brother's wife suffers from bipolar disorder, and she had to take fucking loads, many of which were sedatives. She hated it.
Your case, however, sounds much less of a pissabout.

I like the Pingu ornament in the first image. That one's my favorite.
