Time Travel!

So, I was looking through the user control panel and I noticed this:

:
Your date of birth and age are displayed in several places on the forum. Only the administrator will have access to your date of birth should you choose to hide it via the privacy option below.
Please contact the Administrator if your date of birth has changed
"OWF Administration,

I am just contacting you to let you know that, due to an accident involving a time machine where I inadvertently became my own father, my date of birth has now changed.

Please ignore the obvious paradox this causes, and change my date of birth to the following date..."

Yeah, I'm sure I'm not the first person to notice this. But being as easily entertained as I am, I still thought it was pretty funny.

Also, I did realise that with most time-travel stories the date of birth would have either just always been the way it was, or it would have changed when the past was changed, but that would have ruined my (bad) joke!

And now, just for Kastere, a green robot courtesy of Google Images:

Obviously if your genuine birth certificate turns up in some dusty cupboard and shows your date of birth as something different to the day you've been celebrating for the last decade, then your date of birth has effectively changed.

Use your brain.

I know a guy who took his birth certificate in to the motor registration department to get his driver's license on the day of his 16th birthday and they told him to return the next day; all his life he'd been celebrating the wrong date.

My grandma found out a decade ago that for the previous 70 years she'd been celebrating her birthday a month later than her birth certificate said she should.

Well, I have my birth certificate so I know my birthday is correct. Unless it's a forgery.

Funny though, it would actually be very easy for someone to tell their child their birthday was something other than what it was - they'd never know until they were old enough to need their birth certificate for something.
