Music games, what do you think?

Well I played Rock Band Unplugged a while back and liked it.

Now I've been playing Lego Rock Band and Band Hero for the DS. I never buy any of the peripherals but really enjoy the music and the gameplay.

What do you all think about them?

I dunno... But it always amuses when Mr. 'Guitar hero' meets Mr. 'I-can-actually-fucking-play-guitar hero'.

I recently saw that they came out with DJ hero, which is essentially just all the guitar-hero button on a disc, and two sliders on the side.

I'm not into all that though.. I stay loyal to my DDR-pad

Electroplankton is the best game ever made ever. Seriously, I was just playing with it about half an hour ago. It's the only ds game that I constantly go back to.

I saw this. It would be cheaper to just buy old vinyl turntables and fuck up your LPs.

I don't really like music games (at least for the most part). I find them to be very boring, and in addition, I am no good at them.

Guitar Hero is fun. I also used to play Stepmania a lot.

Ouendan was awesome, shame they haven't done much with it since. Parappa the Rapper is a classic game too.

9 times out of 10, they're tacky as fuck. parappa however is awesome. and vib ribbon.

I saw the DJ hero in the stores today as a try-out game. The disc actually rotates, which is pretty funny, and there's a bit more quality in the device than there is in the guitar hero devices.

I found the control rather annoying though, and the game didn't keep my attention for too long...
