RAIIIIN!

a year or so ago i was helping my uncle out at a Dairy farm he worked on (DURING MY RARE HOLIDAY TIME) and we were puzzling over a broken down tractor under the barn. it was throwing it down, with thunder and lightning, but we were too engrossed to think it better to go inside.

we went to the tool shed for tools (obviously) and heard a lightning strike at an incredibly close range. looked at the farmhouse and the lights had gone out. luckily we found out it had just some how tripped the power, so it was turned back on. it hadn't hit the barn as far as we could tell, nor the house, so we assumed it must have struck in the garden somewhere.

i couldn't find any marks though. dunno where the hell it struck, but i'm glad i wasn't underneath the metal roof next a huge chunk of steel we were trying to fix. it may have changed direction.

and that's my input on lightning stuff.

Well yeah, but we are pretty awesome.

It's freezing here right now; at least 5 degrees lower than the predicted temperature for today.

So it's only 26°C instead of 31°.
