I have to say, it's even more fucked up with the sound on. How could anyone not see that as being inappropriate? I mean, it's not like it's tongue in cheek racism. It actually is just unabashedly racist.

Australia can't even use Japan's excuse seeing as THE INDIGENOUS POPULATION OF THE CONTINENT ARE ABOUT THE BLACKEST PEOPLE ON THE EARTH.

Also it's just come to my attention how retarded my intention for my above post was. Assume I mean that Australia is a more multicultural country than Japan and is also more aware of the differences between stereotypes in American media and the real thing.

They're not mocking black people (other than Michael Jackson). They're referencing a classic film - actually, the first film made with sound.

Australia's history with coloured people is a list of terrible crimes, mistreatment and discrimination. The thing is, though, we never really had a culture of using other races for mockery and base comedy. That's probably why this doesn't appear racist to many people; it's seen as just a light-hearted jab.

tbh i don't feel it's a lightheartened jab, and many of you fuckers would call me australian. i do feel people should lighten up a bit, the nigs namely. and maybe the abbos, but i can't hear them when i'm beating them and their families.
