Why do they need your birth certificate?

you're still part of the lazy generation, you're just also part of the "needs money to fuel laziness" generation

@Nate:I was wondering the same thing. They need the birth certificate to determine identity, well that or a passport, sine i do not have a passport i have to bring a birth certificate.

Oh, I see. I always brought in my passport for that sort of thing, seeing as I had one before I was ever gainfully employed.

You should be careful with your birth certificate, and if possible, only bring in a copy.
