I find the Black Eyed Peas annoying. I don't listen to their music, but when I hear it on the radio I'm thinking "I could do without this."

I enjoyed them before Fergie joined. They stopped being interesting at the exact moment that they decided they wanted their music to be lucrative. I don't necessarily blame them for wanting to make money, But fuck did they start to suck.

Ha, I remember when I was obsessed with them. I haven't heard any of their new stuff, but I liked a lot of their stuff on their previous two albums and some of their early work.

Okay, casual swearing can be freaking funny sometimes. In Reservoir Dogs it works quite well. However, I don't like it when singers talk about faeces all the time.

In their live gig, I didn't like how they changed "Let's get it Started" to "Let's get Retarded". The whole 'retard'/'spastic' thing is still found quite offensive here. Nintendo's own Mario Party 8 had to be withdrawn from the shelves because it contained the word. Why do some Americans just not get it with some of these 'casual' swearwords that simply aren't acceptable here in Jolly old England. The F word isn't too bad, I just don't like them talking about crap all the time. Are they constipated or something?!

Since when do talented people need to swear to be good? I just wish they would censor themselves a bit more. Case in point; The censored version of Boom Boom Pow is about twice as good as the original.

As for swearing in music in general, it's their art. So, they should treat it however they please. I can understand why people get offended when they hear it on the radio etc., but to be honest, it probably isn't their style of music to begin with if it uses vulgarity. You ain't heard nothin' until you've listened to Mindless Self Indulgence.
