Our Glorious Leader claims to have fixed the problem wherein image attachments can't be embedded in blogs using the IMG tags. So I decided to test this using the following, randomly chosen, images.

Oh crap... my monitor is blinking and turning off..... looks like the start of a vertical deflection collapse.

IS THERE A MONITOR LIZARD IN THE HOUSE???

It's not working, because you can see a URL to the second image rather than seeing the image itself.

Oh, now I see it.

Well it's doing more than it did before because I actually went back and posted the picture in my last blog.

And it was just the power cable falling out of the back of my monitor. My 1996 Vintage 20" behemoth CRT monitor continues to live on. For, without it, I would not be able to see embedded blog images. Very important.

Do you not understand the rule of needing big (and usually expensive) things to fill the emptiness within?
