Yesterday was so embarrasing.

So there we are, visiting my granny. we have taken her out to a small reasturant in cheddar, there she is talking about someone who knocked on her door to sell her somthing and we're just going along with it. Putting in a small comment on occasion to make it look like the story is interesting.
Well as it turnes out, the guy who knocked on her door was using an awful lot of "corperate jargon" so Gran didn't have a clue what he was on about, which as you can imagine really irritated her. So there she is complaining about this guy to all of us when suddenly, the waitress walks over just in time to hear my 80 year old gran shout. "I don't know if he was the village fucking idiot but he didn't make a fucking word of sence"! The waitress, and the couple with two young children at the table next to us (who are the only other customers in the reasterant) fall totaly silent. My gran - oblivious - continues eating her meal. Goddamit gran. |
