Alright. So then, my new laptop came about a week ago. I got a Dell Inspiron 1545 (hiss at me all you want). I'm going on an extended leave to spend time with my grandmother in Peru, so to bolster the electronic, communicative experience, my mom decided to get a couple of webcams. They're Logitech QuickCams for Notebooks. My mom's installed fine on her laptop. Whenever I tried installing mine, it would go through the installation process and eventually leave me with this repeating window saying it's configuring the webcam with "Gathering information, x # of seconds, Installing." Sometimes the busy program window appears. Now, eventually it would stop doing this. So, I tried starting it by clicking on its icon, then the window appears again. Eventually, the video-recording window would come up and I could see myself on the screen. Then, when I was able to record a video, I tried to test it, and after the same box came up again, it finally started recording. It recorded the video just fine. At this point, I thought it was all finished. So, I restarted my computer and the repeating box came up again. It does this everytime I restart my computer.
I know this is a shitty summary, but this is the best I can describe what's going on. Please help if ya can. Tanku.
