This shouldn't make me feel cool, but it does anyway.

I just finished 3 weeks to a month worth of Math in 3-4 hours. It's due tomorrow and I had to start tonight. Understand that I didn't know how to calculate volume, radius or any of that shit properly. I taught myself workplace math in the time it takes to download a movie.

This may not be impressive to any of you, but fuck you. I've had communication problems between my Hemispheres and ADHD to deal with for every math lesson since roughly Grade five, and I didn't know until less than a month ago.

Now I need a fucking drink. Blah. Math thoughts.

Woot. Congrats! Learning stuff is keen!

The only roughly equivalent thing I've done is pulled an all-nighter to do an assignment - that my mates took weeks to complete - from scratch, including learning the theory behind what I needed to do . And I even got 11/12. which was better than my mates did.

It's been so long since I learnt a new skill that I think my brain has atrophied.

Blarg. Sucks. Getting my eighty-question final review done for advanced bio sure was fun doing from 4 in the afternoon to 4 in the morning. Thing is, each of those eighty questions had at least five longer questions squished into it. Best part, last twenty or so questions had sutff that we didn't even learn, so I had to bullshit almost all of the last portion. My teacher never checks work thoroughly though.

We also had to due graduation projects, which encompass either job-shadowing or volunteering a certain amount fo time, then putting together a presentation and portfolio. This kid in my class faked all of his job-shadowing and put his project together the night before and got a ninety percent.

Hell yeah!

My thought on this from experience is that you never learn things as well as you do when you have to teach yourself. Way to go!
