Okay, so I finally got my internet back, and went on a downloading rampage that took about 5 hours worth of comics, music, and about three hours of that time was used up waiting for the metroid retrospective to load.

*sigh* school computers suck. I was about to reach the milestone of posting to my blog on a school computer, and I wrote this whole big thing too, but then I got this error. Fuxxorz.
And, in a random and totally retarded way, I thought as this was happening 'Damn. My blog is fucked. SHIT! That was supposed to be #18! Fucked as soon as it's legal. Was it that hawt? Heh. I bet this will be a kickass pun to put up on the next one that actually works...'


In other news, I finally got out from under that huge fat rock and found out where the whole "AYB" thing came from. Now that I know, I'm addicted to it. I wish I had the game itself just ot see the hilarity of it all. Then I'd probably record it on my phone and have it as my ringtone. KICKASS!

Oh, and happy birthday to me, I finally got my Gamecube. My slightly-richer-than-me peers are laughing at me and flaunting thier Wiis and x-box360's. I told them I had a PS3, but they all laughed. Cause y'know what? It may look pretty, but it sucked. In the bad kind of way.

At first, because we didn't have any more money after the console, I had to rent Metroid Prime. It blew my mind like a metroid hooker (*is still laughing at spontaneous pun*). But I only managed to get up to Flahggra (sp?) before I died. And you know what sucked? I didn't have a memory card. But the game still rules. You don't know metroid untill you play prime. But hunters for the DS is a mockery of the games and a shame to the metroids! Now I do have a memory card (thank you birfday money and uncles who listen to your rants!), and am waiting for a package in the mail. By clever deduction, I have concluded that it contains metroid prime 1&2, and the other one is a boxed set of the first 7 zelda games. Let me be a nerd for a second: technically it's eight, because in the original for the NES when you finish the game and then start a new one on the same file, the map is completely changed around. Thus, it's a completely different game all together.

Anyway, I sifted around the portal the other day, and found THE FREAKING' AWESOME SUPER PARODY RANGERS! tons of well place referances, and loads more humor than Psyguys Bastardization series (he just finished the third sonic bastardization) Great job Kirbopher!

Speaking of which, what do you think of the whole, 'Samus V.S MasterChief' thing?

Here's my take on the situation:

As a trinity person(not a single-console person), I like both. They're both original characters, each with a unique story. The only reason that everyone says that one might be a rip off of another, is because the idea of 'the one super soilder destined to save us all' thing has been overused. But Samus was the first one in a videogame to make it NOT SEEM LIKE CRAP. Then all the other sci-fi games after that followed suit and stopped sucking. Halo merely added the interaction with other humans, and the fact that they're actually there to thank you, before some alien comes to posses them, or blast thier brains out. Plus, there's also the comedic value with the interaction with the A.I. With Samus, it was respectful, but Halo provides modern realism with the jokes they crack at eachother in the military.

I agree with Beyondsight about the samus vs MC thing. The only way Samus would be beaten is by sheer outnumbering. But the fact that both sides are in for the safety of the universe (although MC just focuses on his homeworld, he still prevents the flood from spreading throughout the universe), make a conflict. they would probably end up calling a truce and end up neutral to eachother, or end up working together. There might be a little rivalry involved, but they still keep thier lives. ALso, theres the thing about alien vs human technology. MC's shielding system is about as good as pirate turrets. And, if events like halo and metroid were to happen in the same universe, they would be hundreds of years apart, because in halo, the humans haven't left earth yet, but are looking into colonizing other planets.And they haven't interacted with alien species either. But in metroid, the comic detailing Samus' past, and the fact that the galactic federation is made up of several alien species says otherwise. So the events of Halo would have to happen way before Metroid, thus, unless he's frozen and kept that way for a REALLY long time, there would be no interaction between them. And if he was frozen for a really long time, and ended up in the middle of the time period of metroid, then the Galactic federation would have him work with Samus (after they're done testing and experimenting with him of course). DO U SEE WAT EYE SEE?

If Samus wasn't informed of his presence and which side he was on, they might get in a battle of sorts. Once again, because of Modern alien technology Vs Clunky old human technology, Samus would definateley win. It might be a challenge if he managed to hold onto some of his weapons and used them strategically, but Samus would eventually win.

There's your big steaming pile of pixelated theorys right there.

What's your opinion? And stuff like: "MCtotally PWNS Samus!" is not recommended. To that I would say, Why?
