Don't you hate it when people post obnoxious text at the top of their blog and you have to scroll past it every time you want to read what they've posted? Man, I really hate that.

Growing up with George W. Bush

Ok, so I'm several months too late for criticising George Bush, but sometimes you can't resist.
'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' is one of the best-selling childrens' books for all time. In fact it's one of the best selling books of all time. It's been adapted to over fifty languages, had hundreds of TV adaptions and according to rumour, its movie rights have been sold for £1,000,000. It teaches children about the life-cycle of the butterfly, about counting (up to five), the days of the week, different foods and, oddly enough, about reading. In 1999, George Bush announced that this was one of his favourite books from when he was growing up. Which is interesting, when you consider that in the year it was published he was 23 years old. (Odds of this having already been posted at least twice some time in the last ten years... (well there were over 900 results in the search; I'm only human)) |
