I fucking hate Valentines day.

It's only worsened when you hear someone call it 'Valentimes' day.

For a brief period I couldn’t tell whether noise was coming from upstairs, where one housemate was with his girlfriend, or from downstairs, where the other housemate was with his mum. Then the downstairs one came up and started reading Oddworld Forums posts with a shouting volume until I pointed out that the people upstairs were probably trying to sleep.

Other than that I cleaned the bath and toilet, did some washing up, and had soya bacon sandwiches for lunch.

The worst thing that could have possibly happened did.

Technically valitines day was the day saint valintine was crucified.

Don't disgruntle my credulence about valentimes day when need to use my PIN number on an ATM machine.

I spent a full 24 hours asleep. It was the best St. Valentine's Day ever.

Whoa. Our health service uses the term ‘PIN number’ too. I thought it was intentional tautology for the sake of clarity, although it confuses me.
