Introducing vBulletin Blog

When vBulletin released their Blog add-on a few hours ago, the nerdy side of me sprang to life after lying contently dormant for a long time. At first I was disappointed to see that my credit card was low on funds, but my mood was restored when I remembered about the wonderful institution across the road from work that I like to call a bank.

So after topping up my credit card, I rushed back and purchased the add-on. So with my nerdy side still in full-swing, I have for the past day been slaving away, making sure the templates are looking neat and tidy and what not. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper image editor, so most of the images have retained their white borders (vBBlog was designed on a lighter colour scheme).

I purchased this add-on to compliment the social networking features that will be released with vBulletin 3.7, and because I believe having a seperate area for personal life stories (or whatever, talk about your grandmother, just for the sake of all that is good and wonderful in this world, don't spam!) will provide members with a new avenue of interactivity.

Of course, with this new addition, new policies regarding the use of the blogs will have to come into play. By installing the add-on, I in no manner want it to detract from the actual forums.
