I don't understand what you mean. Exactly what doesn't work? You need to be a little more specific, because I understand that you're interested in the soundtracks (not the rips, correct?) but 'they' don't work?

Also, just let me warn you that transcoding the way you described is going to give you a final product with a severe reduction in quality. And, it seems like a cheap thing to do just to get views... =/

More to the point, why do views matter anyway?

Solidjake, it does seem a silly thing to do, listen to Killy. It seems pointless when there are higher quality rips out there that are accessible. I don't understand what you mean by 'don't work' either, but I assume you mean that the archive's broken, or you're having trouble downloading. If the former, you can't have let it download properly. If the latter, I don't know, the only problem I can think of that interferes with downloading is a crap internet connection.

Back with another release, here's the gamerip of Munch's Oddysee for the Xbox. Note that there isn't a whole lot of music in here, but I've tried my best to hunt down and record all the samples in the game. It's still not much, in fact only 4 full tracks that I had to arrange and mix on my own. It wasn't easy, it took plenty of time, but at least it's out there now. I can only expect some form of disappointment from most - if not all - of you over the lack of music, but I can assure you we're in the same boat on this one. Again, I did what I could and to the best of my capabilities. I still hope you guys will be able to find some value in this.

I also included 30 second snippets of all the samples I recorded and used to mix the tracks. Feel free to play around with these and mix your own songs!

Thanks to Max for uploading and hosting to TOL webspace, be sure to thank him for making another Oddworld-related gamerip available! The download link is at the bottom of this post. Those of you looking for a lossless encode need not fret, it's on its way.

Questions, suggestions and complaints are more than welcomed - post here or send me a PM and let me know what you think.

Here's the .nfo file from the gamerip, in case you want to see a full tracklisting before downloading;

I think thats an awesome work too Killy. Especially I like the Main-Menue, like the one in Abes Exoddus too and Fuzzle-Testing. Maybe somebody could use this one for a DJ-set. ; )

Edit: Why had nobody realised that exists a new soundtrack?

I thought the MO soundtrack was pretty naff aswell. It seems more fun and quirky compared to say, the AO and AE tracks that tend to have a more native African feel relating to the actual area etc. The music in SW was back to form i would say.

But yeah, i can't wait to listen to them when i get home as my computer doesn't have sound. I would have downloaded them ages ago but i rarely have time to come on here. Good work Killy.

Killy, you have done the greatest as usual!! I love all the rips you have done, especially Exoddus, 'Slig Barracks' is one of my favourite songs.

Hey, who agrees with me?!!
