What do I need to do to place the motion detectors? Whenever I try placing them in R1 they don't appear and the motion.ban file is in the lvl archive.

In Stockyard escape, it's Width = 14 / Height = 25. Abe's size is preset.
Thanks mate. One more thing, when Abe enters the door the screen stops, zooms in really big on the door he is meant to exit from and then crashes! Do I have to add any more properties to the doors to get them to link between each other?

Thank you for this door-tutorial, it works very well with AO. If I want to change the doors for AE it didn't worked. =(

Has somebody a solution for this problem?

AE is very buggy when it comes to editing sorry.

Sadly it doesn't worked either but how could I change the titles of the bytes from the editor? It's really annoying to check up every Byte by his number. ^_^

Edit the XML files, take a look at some AO ones they have info on what things mean. So the guy above called everything bytes but thats wrong, some are bytes and some are words (two bytes) check it out in the xml files

I assume that the Unknown property on a door is what makes the door (when in Rupturefarms I) closed after getting out of the ballcar at the Zulag 2 stop.

Thank you for your fast respone Paul, I check it out the next time. Now to the next question, does somebody know how to change backgrounds in AE? Because the right-click-function didn't works for AE-files in my editor.

You need his ddraw hook .dll to do that, it should be in the .lvl files thread. Don't know what page though.

Is there any way to get a group of scrabs that are together to not fight to the death? Or is it just programmed in to be their nature. I have a load in a pit you must crush to get across, but they all kill each other anyway and you can run past!

No, you can't stop them from fighting each other because their AI behaviors are programmed into the game .exe and is (probably) impossible to change. Basically they're not stored in the .lvl or paths...

If you want that, try putting a trap door above the screen, find the trigger id for the lever to make it drop and put a scrab on top of it.

Are you sure you've got the right version? Paul said it works with English non-Steam version of the game.
Well I've got only the german-version as real CD-Package and tried to work WITH the english version FROM steam. I'm not sure but I think to remember that Paul said he solved the problem with the steam-versions. Maybe I'm wrong. =(

Also I find that editing collision paths in my editor is ANNOYING AS HELL I think I need to add more grid stuff before anything else as collisions that are not on the grid properly don't work or allow you to fall through the floor etc.

Yeah, that would help. I only really have a problem when it comes to hoists. Mainly offscreen ones.

Cause that dll lets the game load the custom cams, you need the beta 0.6.1 editor for that :P
