Game Crashes When

I've seen this being posted a lot on the Steam Forums but no one has an answer: when you plus an xbox controller into a laptop and run the game it crashes. Anyone know a fix?

WELL I'M SORRY THAT JAW ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEMS WITH XBOX CONTROLLER TOO LATE FOR YOU AND THEY JUST ANNOUNCED THEY'LL RELEASE ANOTHER PATCH SOON

I'm guessing there isn't a fix for this yet? I feel like I shelled out for a new laptop too early. <.<

Th game is built to be played on controller. Youd think this wouldnt be a problem.

My game only crashes when I go too fast, or if ive been playing for extended periods of time.

I completed NnT using keyboard and a small 17inch 5:4 monitor, instead of using my full HD tv and a gamepad, because they thought not adding rebindable, working gamepad support was a good idea. Now I don't really care anymore.
