Submitting Oddworld Fanart to OWI...

Hello guys,

There's something I'm not quite sure about, because it's been a long time since OWI shut down their game studio, so someone here might be more about this than I do.

I would like to submit some fan artwork directly to OWI via their e-mail address, or even originals by snail mail (but perhaps their address isn't the same anymore). I searched on Google for "Oddworld Fanart" to see if I could send or submit stuff to them, but all it came up with was a link to thier old website showing this statement: http://www.oddworld.com/ow_nda.shtml

If you click on "I Agree", it opens up a new e-mail (in G-Mail for me but may be Outlook Express for others) with thier e-mail address in the header (info@oddworld.com).

My question is: Does anyone here know if it's still possible to send stuff to them with this address? Would they still receive it? Or would they ignore it since they're not doing the whole fan thing anymore until Citizen Siege comes out?

They were ignoring it in 2005 when they were still running - the likelyhood of them paying attention to it now is very slim.

Yeah, we (Dark Hood and Alector) tried doing the same, but we didn't find very much either, only that he responds to E-Mails. :P He must be some administrator for them or so.

From what I've understand Matt Lee is simply a friend of Lorne who helps him by replying to those kind of mails...

I'm sorry Totor, but Steven Olds hasn't worked for Oddworld Inhabitants for a very long time. You could try Googling his name and see if he has a personal website like some of the other former inhabitants.

The team photo from AO can be downloaded from TOGG. Download credits.zip and find the file C1P01C24.CAM.bmp. It’s compressed to half the height it should be, so you’ll probably want to use a graphics programme to stretch it.

It's cool that he still replies to emails. I thought about sending one just to get a reply, but I really don't know what I'd send. Maybe thanks for all that is Oddworld.

Hi! I track down Steven Olds since this summer! I wrote to Raymond Swanland, and in his answer mail it was written:"When it comes to Steve Olds, he actually left Oddworld less than a month before I arrived and I never got the chance to meet him. He may be hard to track down and contact as he has a reputation to very much keep to himself, but the best of luck on your search."
I don't give up the search. I know he actually works in Rockstar Games studios in Vancouver, but I'm not sure.
Please help me, I'm completely fan of his concept sketches of AO. Thank's.
