ooc: Ackro, I'm really sorry, but every time you post, you just disrupt the RPG and cause trouble.
I'm sick of all these oocs and I can see a lot of other people are, too. So i really am sorry, but I feel I've just given you so many times to do better. But you keep spamming, keep doubleposting, keep being rude and keep doing all you can to ruin this RPG.
Therefore I am afraid that in following with the RPG rules, I am banning you from W@RF. I do not want to see you posting in this thread any more, and if you do, it will be spam, resulting in more infractions.

I really don't want to be a villain in this, but you are killing this thread, and no matter how many time's you're told by EVERYONE, you're getting no better. Every day you decide to leave, gaining loads of oocs. You're double-posting all the time despite how many times you're told not to.

Really, get out. Come back in a few months when you've grown up.

Sorry if this sounds rude but it's the last piece of advice I'm going to give you and probably the best anyone on this forums ever will. I don't mean it as an insult; I'm jst being straight-forward. I mean this genuinely; stop wallowing in unjustified self-pity.

IC: Guekko staggered back a few times, nails making loud clicking sounds several times against the floor as he tried to regain his balance after Krivzee pushed him back. He gave the Snoozer a quick look before following with Krivzee's nudgings, moving away from the Snoozer and Slig that he had been standing by.

His plan has worked, his attacker had lost his grip on him, but he was now escaping with his buddy.

Snoozers were known to be some of the slowest machines ever created. They were better at patrolling than hunting intruders. Then again, the Vykkers engineers had worked on the question.

"You're not getting away." he said with his cold and monotonous tone through all of the corridor's speakers, to give the impression he was everywhere. "Maximum Speed !" (Crysis FTW

) He ran like a bullet and nearly flown through the entire corridor. A few seconds later, he was in front of the escaping duo, blocking the way.

He let out the usual "Freeze !" and pointed immediately his laser sights at both the slig's and the glukkon's head.

"Now, the first one who dare to move an eyebrow will try my explosive rounds with his head, understood ?".

The boss was still locked in his office and bothering him with another security report would not help his cause. Maybe he could interrogate these two on his own after all.

"So...This could be a big misunderstanding. Why were you trying to hack an executive office's door during a security lockdown ?" he said, looking alternatively at the slig and the glukkon.

IC: Krivzee thought he could make it. He thought they'd make it out of here. But then the Snoozer moved unimaginably fast and blocked they're path. Krivzee skidded to a stop and moved in front of Guekko, raising his gun to the snoozer. He started to sweat and nervously fidget once he noticed the notorious red laser light on both their noggins. "Now, the first one who dare to move an eyebrow will try my explosive rounds with his head, understood? So...This could be a big misunderstanding. Why were you trying to hack an executive office's door during a security lock-down?". Krivzee was glad that the Snoozer at least was going to give them a chance. "Thank you" he said, lowering his gun. "The reason I was hacking the door open was merely to talk to the boss, Arnie, yes? He's been falsely reasoning that the Mudokon terrorist could have possessed one of his employees. I've fought this 'terrorist'. He is no more than a bold-headed, reckless youth. I was the one who shot him in the leg. See, the reason I fought him and know he couldn't have possessed one of us is due to the fact that I was possessed myself. He couldn't fully possess me, just suggest thoughts to me. He actually tried to get me to destroy you. But I fought him off and trailed him for a fight. I then reverted to my original task, finding my good friend...", he said, gesturing to Guekko. He started to realize that this had gotten much more complicated than it originally was supposed to be. As in life and death matters. "...Guekko here, who is the entire point of my presence here. We wanted to get a job here. Both of us. But due to the executive Glukkon's ridiculous behavior, I decided to hack the door open and reason with him. But due to you showing up, I ran to the nearby lab, where I witnessed to Mudokon being held captive. I then went back for Guekko and found you. I tried to yank your gun off but only succeeded in further roasting my hands. It seems every time I'm in a life-and-death situation I electrically shock my hands...". Ending his large speech, Krivzee holsters the Pisto-hook, glances at Guekko and the Snoozer, and says "Now shouldn't we just explain to Arnie about the terrorist?".

OOC: Jimmy? Um, it's Vykkers.

Mars

"Well, I just run, talk or hit things. It's all I can really do. And honestly this is getting crazy. Jeez, I should just leave the factory." Mars said regretfully. He glanced at the corridor to the exit. It would be the smartest thing he'd ever do...

OOC: ...but of coarse this is almost over due to Krivzee.

I wholeheartedly agree with Splat's reaction to the Ackro problem. Now, on to deciphering the IC from all this meaningless OOC stuff.

*after checking the last 3-4 pages* Bleh, no use. Is there a point going on with this at all? W@RF used to be a proper place where people actually managed to learn RPing and weren't spamming/messing up the whole thing. Nowadays, there are always a number of players who are like "ohai i can haz rp plz i iz good at it lol". Then they go sulking because they think the whole W@RF crew is against them solely because they are all evil incarnate. All this, as a result, keeps me from posting, to which most people react "wher iz drippik he shuld post he iz no good".

I'll ask the remaining players to think this through and put their thoughts into a reply. If you think there is still hope, I'd like to ask for a summary from everyone on where their respective characters are currently. Only their own characters, just to avoid mentioning characters that have "passed on".

OOC: I'd have to say with the recent episodes I was actually considering whether to continue with this RP as well, Dripik, but I think the remaining players are doing good now, so there's still hope.

And Mars, I wasn't actually complaining about you there, I was actually giving you a compliment that you've become a contributing member to the RPG instead of getting angry when someone disagrees with you. So keep up the good work, but try to lay off the OOC's a bit

Anyway, as for the summary:
Ralph is currently having a conversation with Jim in the Production Lines.
Hembar was escorted out of the basement with SU-01 after RG left to protect Arnie, but then she returned and ended up in the middle of Mars being captured by the sligs who went chasing him after Arnie freaked out, so now she is in the labs with Anni and Mars trying to work out what the three of them are going to do.

I'll post IC later.

My summary:
Flad was one of the Sligs that captured Mars. Flad left the lab after Mars was put in the cage and met Ackro. After chasing Ackro around Flad is now outside the lab trying to unlock the lab door, he believes Mars is on his own and has trapped another Slig.

My other character Slen has not yet entered Rupture Farms. I don't think i'll add him until things calm down.

Jim is in the production lines with Ralph (I have no idea what's going on there).
Dionysia is in the security room with #7 and RG.
Anni is locked in the lab with Mars and Hembar.
Grace is outside Arnie's office, having just told him that the native has been imprisoned (oh dear) and that it's safe to come out.

Anni, Jim, Ralph, Rick and Dionysia are the only mudokons in the farm, and three of those are owned by me and one of them is inactive. And Dionysia is only a mudokon in the technical sense...

Tok arrived at RuptureFarms and immediately went down to the ruined section where he attempted to assist in the capture of Mars.
Whilst carrying said terrorist to the cells, he was shot in the leg by Ackro, and his pants exploded. He has since gained a pair of unreliable flypants.
Next, he went to the lab cells, where Mars was imprisoned, in an attempt to finish him off. However, Mars escaped from his cell and locked Tok up in there, where he still is.

OOC: I'm rather confused at Dripik. People take a while to get used to RPG'ing. I did. I'm sure Splat or Gretin did. Ackro...well I suppose he over-reacted. But while Dripik says to Ackro GTFO, I'm still hoping for Ackro to GTFB; Get the **** back. Meh, I'll wait. Nobody gets perfect at this in one day. Of coarse Ackro's behavior was inexcusable, but...maybe some of us were kinda hard on him...

So to answer Drippy - Mars was captured finally and was carried off by an assortment of you're employees and others. But Mars has escaped your prison (MUHAHAHAHAHAHA), threw Tok inside the prison and is with Hember and Anni, having just answered Hember's comment. So waiting on Gretin. Krivzee, my character from AlexFili's "The Creeper", came in search of Guekko but was possessed by Mars. He fought out of Mars's weak excuse of possessing and shot em' in the leg. He then found Guekko and they both went for a job. But Arnie was freakin' out about being possessed so Krivzee tried to hack the door open and reason with Arnie. However SU-01 found them and Krivzee ran to Dek's lab, where Mars was just imprisoned. He than realized he had forgotten Guekko and went back to save him. He tried to grapple SU-01's gun off but it used electrifying armor and Krivzee's hands were even more shocked. He tried to run off with Guekko away from Snoozie but it cornered them and asked them why they were trying to open the door. And Krivzee just explained to Snoozer SU-01 why he tried to break in to Arnie's office. Waiting on you Jimmy.

Alrighty, now to wait for everyone.

Name: Opril.

Species: Vykker.

Age: 56 Years old. (The Typical life span for a vykker is 120 years.)

Sex: Male.

Appearance: His skin is a little darker then a normal Vykker, and his right eye is black, for he's blind in it. His other eye has a little invention of his, a thermal scanner, like eye-glass, giving him the ability to see things much easier with that eye to make up for only having one. He has a big red "O" on the side of his head, for "Opril".

Personality: Down right twisted, he's very hard to read at times as his attitude changes constantly, at times he's kind and helpful.. while other times he's pure evil.

Equipment: His Thermal Lens, he wields a small operating saw on one of his hands(Lil' hacker saw.), that he switches around to other hands from time to time. And his belt that he keeps his saw in.

History: He was the owner of a medical center not far from where new yolk city was. The Medical center (Opril's Cut Hut), got much business.. wandering outlaws would come in to have bullets removed from them and things such as that. One day, while operating on a slog who's jaw had been broken, an outlaw that had been there earlier to have his broken arm repaired, set a fire to the Cut hut.
"This'll teach ya' for sowing my arm on backwards, ya idiot!" The outlaw yelled.
Opril escaped out the window in the back, making his way off into the deep dark woods. After miles of walking.. feeding off the slog he'd been fixing up before, he reached the feeco depo, hopping onto the train and heading to the popular "Rupturefarms". He realized his business had been ruined.. so he figured he could make a ton of moolah at rupturefarms.

He started wandering around, noticing the heavy machinery.
While wandering around in the production line area he put his lower right hand
on his hip, sighing happily. "I think I'm going to like it here very much so!" Opril proclaimed anxiously.

(Disclaimer: No offense is intended by the preceding sentence or any of the following sentences)

And to help you understand why Dripik was so annoyed with the recent episodes, you've got to remember that he's been with this RPG since the beginning (4th October 2002) and he's seen a lot of bad stuff happen over the years. Even I have seen some really bad RP'ing in the time I've been here. And while you have a good point that no one is perfect from the beginning, the key difference is in their attitudes. Someone who makes mistakes, but listens to advice and acts on it and tries to improve will always be made much more welcome than someone who won't listen and gets angry when they're corrected by others.

And it's even worse for Dripik than the rest of us when the thread gets flooded out with OOC posts, because he has little enough time as it is (which is another reason the posts per day rule was made) to read through the IC posts and respond to them without having to read through a bunch of OOC posts as well.

So in short, Dripik (and the other old RP'ers including myself) don't hate newbies. On the contrary, it's often the newbies who help keep the game alive. We just don't like newbies who disrupt things.

Now I'm sorry, I think I've gone on a bit too much (I have a habit of doing that...), and you do make a good point, let's get back to the game and zip it with all the OOC'ing.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down!," Hembar exclaimed, "I'm just wondering what your purpose is here. As in, why did you come here in the first place?

"But perhaps we're starting on the wrong leg. Speaking of which..." she looked down at the wound on the other mudokon's leg, "...we probably should get that fixed up."

She looked at Anni, "I heard you saying before you might be able to bandage it up using supplies in this lab? I think the first thing to do is take care of that, then we need to get out of here before the slig on the other side of this door gets in. But what's going to happen when he frees the other slig, I don't know."

She walked over to the controls to the lab door and put her palm against the panel. "I can try to slow him down though." Her hand lit up with a blue glow as she pushed it into the panel. There was a fizz and then, anti-climatically, a few sparks leapt from the control panel both on the inside of the room and on the outside too.

"There, the lock on the door is busted now, so they'll either have to fix it or get the door open manually. Either way, it'll buy us time."

OOC: Almost forgot to say, Opril, if you take a look at the first post of this thread you'll find a link to the W@RF map which should answer your question

And as for getting to where the action is, it's best in the RP to get in your character's head and think what they'd want to do. So I'm assuming your character's first priority is going to be getting employed, so he'll be wanting to find Arnie's office.

So your options for getting involved are either have him not know how to get there and taking a guess and maybe running into someone else (you'd have to check where other people were and see where that corresponds to on the map) or you can have him find Arnie's office, where he'll happen to run into the little dilemma that's currently happening there

And sorry for the wall of text, as I said, I tend to go on a bit and take three pages to describe something that could've been said in one sentence

Flad was still working on the lab door's console. "Ok, almost got it..." Suddenly sparks started shooting out of the console. "Ahhh" Flad yelled and jumped back, "Phew, that was close," he thought, "I wonder why it did that." Flad returned to the console and started typing again... "Aha, got it." Large green letters appeared on the console's screen.

"DOOR UNLOCKED... OPENING"

The door began to lift very slowly, Flad stood in front of the door with his gun ready. The door lifted a couple of inches from the floor, and then slammed back down. "Odd damn it, the thing must be busted." Flad shouted in frustration and looked at the console "I have no idea how to fix this," he thought, "Wait. Maybe there's something laying around in R+R I could use to pry this door open."
Flad began to make his way to R+R.

Name: Erp
Race: Mudokon
Gender: Worker
Age: 8
Appearance: Light green skin, paler underbelly. White eyes. Average headfeathers. Loincloth. Mysterious tattoo of an unrecognisable creature on his chest.
Bio: Erp was born as one of his mum Sam's Labour Eggs. He was hatched and raised as a living scrubbing-brush for a Glukkon factory, but even Sligs couldn't help noticing that he was quite smart for a Mudokon, and a young one at that.

They tried to beat it out of him, but failed, and when the main machine of the factory broke down and Erp fixed it, the Glukkon master decided he need a reward, and promoted him to Chief Mechanic, which involved fixing things and getting beaten if he messed up.

With the destruction of RuptureFarms 1029, people turned to the canned foods produced by the factory, which were cheaper than meat, the prices of which skyrocketed. The Glukkon master became quite wealthy.

However, when RuptureFarms reopened, profits dropped suddenly and the Glukkon had to downsize on staff. Erp, who was famed for brains rather than his proficiency at scrubbing, was sold.

He was bought by RuptureFarms, and was packed off into a daunting black train which clattered its way into the train station.

The doors opened and a Slig shoved Erp off. He stumbled awkwardly, managing to hold his balance. "Gee, this place's big!" he said. He glanced around at the huge structures around him and the impressive doors into the main building.
Slightly overwhelmed, he rubbed his side and said to himself, "What do I do now?"
