Yeah. You drag your Mexican mechanic, who got his pants caught in you, and yells at you in Spanish throughout the whole game, behind you, using him as both a melee weapon and a boomerang type weapon.

Playing Euro Truck Simulator because it was in the humble bundle. Got the bundle for TrainZ, which I ended up not liking. But ETS is crazy entertaining for reasons I still can't figure out. Doesn't seem like it would be fun to play at all. But it is.

I've just finished the Dig. It was a good game. Very enjoyable. The story was quite interesting, though a bit cliche.

Doing a Let's play on Ratchet & Clank 2. Still my favorite in the series. Another game which I know pretty much back of my hand.

Also played Crash Team Racing for the first time in what seems like 10 years. Terrific kart racer, I actually prefer it over some Mario Kart games. I love the jumping to gain speed mechanic, there's one track which is just jumps after jumps. So fun

If any of you like precision platformers, I can't say enough about bit.trip Runner 2. I fell back in love with video games. I stayed home from work yesterday because my tire blew, and I ended up playing it for eight straight hours.

Isn't it just an infinite runner type of game though? I think that's what basically put me off the first one.

Yeah. It's not an infinite runner. It's true that you don't control the running, which makes dodging and jumping sound easy, but it isn't. The game is amazing, and hard as shit.

Oh yeah, my bad, it wasn't an infinite runner. But still, does it improve over the first one in any way? Are there any new mechanics that offer some variety to the gameplay?

By the time you're done with the first world the game is throwing so much shit at you, you feel like you're going to have a nervous break down. It gets easier to handle once you become accustomed to it though. Just download the demo. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

It's been a little while since I did this so I'd best focus on my most recent exploits.

FTL: Faster Than Light is fantastic. I love the random nature of the game as you always get a slightly different experience each time. The different ships are varied enough to promote entirely different playstyles whether you're a boarder, a droid-maniac or someone who just loves giant laser beams! Some of the ships are hard to unlock but at least there is a good level of challenge to it. Spent about 90 hours on it so far and will no doubt play for quite a while more.

I've played quite a few 3DS games as well these past few months, the ones I am enjoying the most are Pokemon Y, Naruto Powerful Shippuden, Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D, Ghost Recon Shadow Wars and Super Mario Land 3D. I'm a bit of a Streetpass addict so I've been carrying around my 3DS everywhere and picking up Miis from all over the place.

In terms of the 3DS Virtual Console I've also been playing through Balloon Fight, Castlevania II Simons Quest and Super Mario Bros 3. I've never finished Simons Quest before so I'm really trying hard to get it complete and fill an empty part of my life.

Very much looking forward to Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Watch Dogs and Treyarch's next CoD. Beyond that I'll likely pick up a few PC based indie titles, but who knows.

I'll buy it and play it with friends as I did with melee and brawl but... ehhhh..

I've never even seen a person use a WiiFit, they just kind of sit there soaking up dust like a waffle shaped Dyson.

Wii Fit is actually very popular and is a well established franchise now for Nintendo. I personally never liked it. But it's not really aimed for me so I understand why.

I'm also very excited to play the next Smash bros. So far, It looks amazing. I'm eagerly waiting Wario getting announced

I am playing I/O, a cyberpunk visual novel about the internet, terrorism and Jungian psychoanalysis. It's entertaining and has some rather stinging social satire, but is also quite jargon heavy to the point where it has its own glossary. The music is great and the art at best is striking.

Also it must win an award for most words words words shoved into an opening movie ever.

I finished South Park: The Stick of Truth. Very fun game, it's like a 12-hour episode of South Park, enjoyed almost every bit of it. Gameplay-wise it isn't anything too special, but I loved all the references to the older episodes, all the item descriptions etc. I started my second playthrough a while ago, chose the Jew class this time, man oh man.

I picked up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance from a sale for around 10 euros and to be honest, I really dislike it. Visually it is super bland, gameplay-wise there isn't anything you wouldn't see in other (better) hack 'n slash games except the blade mode but that gets boring after a while too. I have enjoyed the boss fights so far though, they are quite... hmm... arcadey? Not sure if the best choice of words, but I do like them though. The dwarf gekko part was fun. Anyways, I just don't find it to be anything special at all and I think I'll sell it after I complete it.

Oh yeah, also picked up Dark Souls 2. It's great so far, but there are a lot of changes to basic stuff like leveling up, death penalties etc. that I still need to get used to. Loving the graphics and exploring the new areas. I have encountered quite a lot of sound glitches though, hopefully that's something they'll fix soon.
