Abe is the second coming?

Ok... Abe has been refered to as a millenial hero... right?. And that means that he is a hero that appears once a millenian (1000 years)... right?
So it stands to reson that there have been such heros befor, otherwise he would just be a hero... right?
So who was this preveus hero you might ask?... I dont know... but it does not mater because he would be dead by now... right?
So is there any thinkelse that helps sugest this theory?... Well abe was born in the year 1029 (Oddworld time)... right?... So a 1000 years befor would have been the year 29... right?... So what if that was when the last savor died?...what if the last savor was born on the year 0... what if they started there year system when the savor was born (or after he was born and counted back)(like with jesus)... So if the first savor of all mudukons had big anuff affect to have the year system started in his onnor, what will Abe do?
So to recap I think that a savor was born and died. In his onnor they started the year system. 1000 years after his death Abe was born. And now Abe has some major savoring to do...

Woa, you've been thinking! Thats a cool theory. Well, Raisin is really old, so maybe he knew the last savior. Maybe he well tell Abe about it, and have a flash back and we can see how Oddworld used to be.

Paul said that Hand of Odd was talked about being in the past, but they would rather move on into the future..something like that.

No, I think they said Hand of Odd was going to be set in the past at one stage but they changed that idear.

I supose that Raisin would have knowen the first savor sent by Odd. However he could not be the savor himself because he is not dead.

Just anuther thought... The first savor would have been born about the time that mudukons and glukons started to fight. Bit of a conection...

Im sorry for speaking so eraticly befor aswell... to many rights and not anuff lefts... lol

I didn't say Raisin was the savior, I dont think that. But Raisin is very old, and OI says he has lived many lives...so he would've witnessed everything...including the last savior.

anyway.....i dont think raisin could have been a savior, i mean, look at that bulk. think of how much runnin and jumping abe had to do to ssave his peeps, now can you imagine raisin running and jumping without collapsing in a seisure of laughter???

LOL...I never thought Raisin was a savior. It says on Oddworld.com he is a spiritual leader or whatever. All I was saying is that he was probably around when the last savior was alive.

THOUGH...On oddworld.com it also says that Raisin has lived many lives...possibly in many different forms. Gives you room to think.

Hello, folks!

When I read that Abe was born in Rupture Farms 1029, I also thought that number was his birth date. Then I saw this, in Molluck's stat page:

As CEO of RuptureFarms 1029 and also CEO of SoulStorm Brewery 401, Molluck was responsible for operations and product planning. It was his job to keep these Glukkon franchises profitable. He had worked his way up the corporate ladder since his first job as a Flub Fuels Fill Station manager.

Actually, 1029 is part of Rupture Farms' name. Maybe it is an address, or an identification number the Magog cartel uses to control its franchises.

Yeah, it's a sort of reference number. Like each bus stop has its own number, which has to be punched into the machine. That's over here, anyway. Hmmm.

I think Oddworld is actually in it's 'second millennium', but I also think you're taking the word 'millennial' a little too far.

About the number after Rupture Farms, i think that it has something with the trains to do. That thing with bus stops really catched my thoughts... Grr, now im going to stay up all weekend to think of that!!

I still think its a date, but not in the same way as befor. The numbers behind the names might be Oddworld/ Glukon copyrights numbers assigned by the date. A bit like 'WINDOWS 95' or 'Encarta 97'. The Oddworld/ Glukon copyrights would need to have more digits in thier dates though because they keep factorys and things around for such a long time(It has been said that Glukons are consevetive).
Therefor my first theroy still applies, but it would be subject to a fare bit of error... Which is good because other wise the first savor would have die a young Mudukon at only 29.

Nar... Sligs have names. There given to each other by each other.
Also they've never said that the Magog Cartel is impersonal anyway, just that they basicly care only for them selfs. Thats what makes them bad in so many respects.
And if it was a address it would be a lot longer aswell, with about 6 or 7 digits. After all, Oddworld is 10 times larger then Earth.

I think it is an address, because that shows that SoulStorm and RuptureFarms are really quite a small part of the Magog Cartel. Remember what Lorne said about starting in a dimond mine in South Africa.

one thing: 29 isn't a young age for a mudokon, really.

also, i don't think sligs [or muds] go by numbers. they are probably given them, but no-one remembers them. they refer to each other by names they give each other, and glukkons refer to them as "Hey, You!".

i do like the idea of there having been lots of saviours. i don't think that's a date, though, i think it's a number assigned to a corporation. that means that, at the time Rupture Farms was founded, there were 1028 other corporations. maybe.

if that isn't a date, there could have been lots of saviours, although the ones before the glukkons enslaved them wouldn't have really been noticed, as there wasn't anything to save. maybe there is someone born every 1000 years, who has strong psychic powers, like Abe, rather than weak powers, like the other muds.
