In my few brief leaves, several things have cropped up within the forums, these are a couple which i was wondering if i could have some help with.

1. What is rep power?

2. What are it's bonus'?

3. What is the little green card under your post personal details?

You should've posted this in the Forum Help bit, but oh well.

Rep power is gained from good posts. The green card shows your rep power when you hover over it with your mouse cursor. And I don't think there are really any bonus'...

1, How much rep you can give and subtract to someone.

2, Absolutely nothing unless you're a socially insecure attention whore

3, That shows your rep level which grows to BM proportions as people give you rep.

How do i veiw who neg repped me?

Go to your User CP, it lists all the rep you have received.

Just to clarify, the reputation listed in the User CP isn't all of it. I believe it cuts off at 25 or 30.

The vBulletin guys obviously didn't think reputation was dignified enough to paginate it

The number by the rep box (be it green or red or purple) is how much rep you can give right? So how do you get that number to increase?

Correct, that is how much rep you give to someone if it's positive rep. Negative rep is half that. To get your rep power to increase, you can do a number of things. It's based on post count, current reputation, days registered, if you're a mod, etc.

But how is rep power and rep linked?
I had 4 rep power once, and has 27 rep, I see people who have more rep but less rep power.
Oh don't be surprized Salamander, they don't actually listen to us (as we now have gender and oddworld games listed ), apparently it's just the other mods that they ignore.

I would, but as BM has already said, AlienMAgi is already beating me by far, I don't think I'd ever get to his stage, I do look up... er down to him though (Lets us worship the almighty AlienMagi, that came from the stars and while strike us down with his infite ignorant wrath).
Oh, and how do the green squares work? I'm assuming you get a new one when you reach a certain level in rep.

New green square every hundred rep; I have 2-- so I have 3 squares and BM has 4-- so he has 5 squares.

I presume eventually you get huge squares as I remember when Hobo's rep was set to -9999 he had an all devouring red square.

Well, I was considering chasing the negative rep to a stage where I would be branded the custom title "Fuck you Mudling", but believe it or not, I mostly get the bad rep from carelessness, I don't go out of my way to be a dickhead to certain members... BM I'm looking at you! (Obviously I'm joking, if one more person takes me serious I'm going to scream).
