I received a free copy of it from a friend yesterday - I've been looking forward to buying it myself so this was a real pleasant surprise. I'd really like to play with some of you guys, if you're playing over Steam, that is.

Some people are really weird, I entered a game and greeted everyone - they were Russian-speaking, but greeted me back. I proceeded to pick up a pipe-bomb (there were 2 of them on the ground). Chaos ensued with all kinds of Russian words flying my way and I was kicked off before I could even hit the Speak button. So much for just politely asking me to hand it over, I would've complied seeing as I don't care much for pipe-bombs.

The consensus is that the game has evolved and the gameplay mechanics along with it, so players already have standards for how a game should be played and they don't hesitate to boot people off who deviate from this. Don't take it personal, just find another server, there's plenty to go around.

No, it's a piece of shit live action. The first 5 minutes are basic L4D stuff, like she checks out a house. Except that for some reason the ground looks like someone used a cheap fog machine, and the 'zombies' are two guys with cheap masks and hoodies. Then the smoker...er.....apparently is longer in a place other than his tongue. It's like a really weird version of tentacle rape. And then after she manages to shoot the smoker (although I have no idea why she would when she seemed to be enjoying it so much), what looks like a hunter grabs her and goes at it.

The entire movie is like some nerd's bizzare rape fantasy.

If there is anyone who isn't aware, I'm here to tell you that there will be free dlc either this month or the next. They are adding both campaigns that were unplayable in versus and giving a new 'Survival' mode. Should be fun.

Survival pack is out. Yay!

The new survival mode is pretty fun but you rely on teamwork more then ever now. If you split up you're done for, period.

Also hearing the tank music start three times and then seeing three tanks run around on the map... give you a serious 'oh crap' feeling.

It's too damn fast. And lags like hell when there's too many players onscreen. And the see-through-wall to your allies is a pain in the ass.

For the love of god! I just spent 3 hours playing Death Toll on Expert for the 'What are you trying to prove' achievement. I die just as the boat gets there and my fucking braindead teammate jumps on the fucking thing, denying my my achievement!! AAAH...
