First video: Holy crap, how could someone POSSIBLY be that stupid, especially in a public conference? Sort of insensitive in my opinon. If he was out fighting in Iraq then I'd respect his opinion - but when he's sitting where ever it is he's sitting, it just makes him look incredibly stupid. What a dumbass.

No, not necessarily. However, at least he'd have some basis for what he's saying. Sorry, I sort of misphrased that. I meant to say that he most likely has no idea of what's going on, and therefore his opinion is worthless. Sure, he knows of the situation - but it's not like his ass his in a uniform trying not to get killed. I think that it's way off base for him to be saying what he's saying.

Sorry bout that. And for that matter, I don't think shooting people is or would be fun.

Heh, that Canada one is a pisser. I find it funny that they seem to think that "sending troops to Vietnam" should be perceived as a good thing. Speaking as someone who's country sent troops to both Iraq and Vietnam, I'd say that Canada have a damnsite more common sense than our leaders.

But I love that statistic "71% of Canadians think US is Canada's closest friend". Are they talking geographically?
