Ever since OWF went down a few months ago, my images of the Abe model (that featured in the Oddworld Inhabitants: The First Ten Years art book, making it even more special now ) and Munch head were lost. Here they are, in there 255kb glory! (Bad quality webcam, sorry)

(P.s, Munch head was my own creation, and was not sold anywhere, I just put it here)

I don't see how you're going to get that movie. The seller only accepts UK or US cash sent to him(money order in Australia), since he doesn't use paypal.

Sorry for being ignorant here, and I don't mean to derail the topic, but won't that be appearing on the Bonus DVD that comes when you preorder OSW? Or does that just have the FMV sequences from the previous three games?

Oh awesome, it gets better for me: I read it as the person only accepted Australian dollars in cash it the buyer is from the U.K. or U.S. - now I can bid and pay. Trouble is, it's up to £25 already. I don't know if I'm willing to spend that much.

Tim, the idea of eBay is that you only bid once.

Sorry Tim.

Actually, I didn't overbid you, I overbid the person that overbid you. I actually sniped it, though I really didn't mean to. I was going to bid last night, but forgot. I remembered this morning, and I was already late for school, so I booted the computer quickly and found there were just 8 minutes left to bid, and it was just too tempting.

There is now a limited edition The Art of Oddworld Inhabitants book up for offer on eBay, and one very interesting item:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...145101270&rd=1

Isn't it immense?! Just one piece of advice: DO NOT BID for this item if you want a genuine piece of Oddworld art. This Kenneth Lilly is lying; all Oddworld art is done by OWI and the job is never licensed to any other company. I'm going to contact eBay telling them this.

I'm not saying that the seller is lying about being Kenneth Lilly who worked for ReSaurus and drew this image as a concept for an Oddworld figure, but it's not official. It's fanart.

Thanks Tim. It won't be official, but you would get to see the movie. The way oddguy described the DVD seemed to me as if the FUD scene was a separate extra, and the movie as a whole didn't exist.

Do you think it's worth me asking the seller if he'd make a DVD for me, too, so I could see it? Hmmm, I wonder if he'd be interested in supplying everyone with a copy for a price.

Except OWF does not support piracy, despite our left-wing views. Don't do pirates, kids!

Crikey, I'm not going to believe that's worth it. £32ish is alright for official merch. A birdie for a copy is well expensive. Surely rewrittable DVDs don't cost anything like that.

I'll find some way of watching it.

You don't have a VHS player, Max?

Well, I am glad someone from the forums won the video, since it totally wasn't going to be me. I just paid the entire cost of Stranger early for my pre-order...leaving me broke.

If the seller was aware that you live in a PAL region where you wouldn't have easy access to an NTSC VHS player, then when he offered you the DVD saying you could watch it, he probably knew you could watch it, i.e. he could be burning region-free DVDs. Why not ask him?

There's a leaked version of Oddworld Stranger's Wrath on eBay.co.uk. How sickening is that? Profiting from an illegal version of the game.

Seen it, and posted about it. I'll merge this with the BUY thread.

What is worse is that they were selling a pirated Stranger's Wrath on ebay.co.uk, but I think I've already posted about that, too.

That is quite horrible. WHy would anyone purchase that when the un-pirated version is coming out in a week? When the seller sends the game, it would probably take a week to ship. So whats the point?
