I'd like to think Sekto has at least one or two bodies in reserve.
That leads me to wonder if an Oktigi's business associates know that he's just a head on a stolen body. I'd imagine fellow industrialists would, and that perhaps each Oktigi has a personal doctor handy in case of issues.
Perhaps there's a market specifically for Oktigi where slaves are bred to be host bodies. That would be interesting.

They probably would have been inside the dam though.

Well, maybe he would store them at another base of operations. Someone as crafty as Sekto wouldn't put all his eggs in one basket.

I dunno. I see hubris as contributing to Sekto's downfall. He probably would have thought that his control over the river was so complete that no-one could challenge him.

No, perhaps he believed that his forces were impenetrable, colonizing last legs and the mongo valley could have assured him of no trouble.

Ok to not be spammer I propose this: There is a clan of oktigi that breed okiti and bodies as well, steef was chosen because steef look imposing and scary. And fuzzy

There are a lot of sound files, including Clakkerspeak, that suggest that the player would have had the chance to play around with the different Live Ammo types near the start of the game at some kind of Live Ammo Carnival. It was dropped in favour of a more subtle, gradual way of introducing the critters. For one thing, it would raise the question of why Clakkers are using/promoting Live Ammo.

The sell the creatures; they don't specifically sell it as ammo. Another idea that didn't make the final cut was that they were sold at Clakker pet shops. Which explains why they're sold at all.

How can Grubbs be so ignorant and yet have huge catapults and complicated maps - and guess 3 minutes and 30 seconds early that a certain section of the dam is going to fall?

The grubbs aren't ignorant, they merely don't have the power to contest with sekto before unification.

Hey all, I registered a couple years ago after just playing through the good old 2D games again. I heard back then some rumours (or confirmations) about Oddworld movie(s)... so what's up with that, will they ever come?

Cheers!

Oddworld always intended to make Oddworld movies, and they still plan to. Some day. Hopefully we'll see them in the future, but it's not what they're working on now.
