Spoiler Forum Moderator Announced

After much thought and looking through all all of the applications, Sydney and myself have finally selected the person who we believe should be the Spoiler forum moderator.

We wish to annonce Pilot as the new moderator. After consideration, we decided that he is the most appropriate person for the job. In the past he has demonstrated a responsible approach to the forums as well as showing to be a regular visitor but not posting an excessive amount of posts. To us he seems to be a person who will be dedicated to the position.

As for everyone else who applied, do not feel bad that you were not selected. Choosing an applicant was not an easy process, and some of you may have also made good moderators. If the time arises where another moderator is needed, we will certainly keep your application in mind.

We wish Pilot the best with his new promotion at Oddworld forums and are sure that he will do his job to keep the forums "spoiler free".

Pilot may not be the most prolific member, but all his posts are relevant, considerate and thoughtful. I think everyone will agree that he will make a great Moderator. Quoting Pilot:

Please, abe333... yes, all us non-mobs wonder how Lamp and co are going to take over the world, but screaming about it isn't any way to find out. I think a mod that screams and rants wouldn't be a very good one, anyway - sorry, but... *shrugs* That's the way it is.

On a lighter note, many congratulations, Pilot. Like 1,2 said, I think most of us thought you'd get the role...

Wow! What a suprise! I send my most humble thanks to everyone who thought to mention me during the nominations. I also send thanks to Sydney and Abe Babe for everything. I look forward to many good years of service as a moderator. I think that "Oddworld Moderator" is going to look a lot better under my name than "Slig Worker!"
