Euphoria is a game engine. I'm assuming they are considering using it or parts of it for Abe HD. It can do pretty neat things.
Gratuity as I know it is a form of tipping and in games it's a term used to reward people with certain items, often for participating in Beta's or other tests. Maybe they plan on some ingame reward for those playtesting or something?
Could Euphoria have something to do with the emotions of Mudokons?
Euphoria is like when the mudokons have had a dose of that laughing gas, so yeah.. or JAW could have been making reference to the Euphoria engine, although theyre not using it.

Perhaps they're branching ideas that are similar to what the Euphoria engine offers? I love this!
"I would find it too tempting" is a shit reason not too.
Why cater for some when you could cater for all?
I think it would be nice if they could implement it in a way that didn't detract from the gameplay, but "we're putting this in and if you don't like it don't use it" is a shitty way of doing it.
Abe's Exoddus had quicksave - Since the puzzles in AE were a lot harder than the ones in AO, I never found it easier than AO. Maybe the difficulty of AO could be adjusted to make up for the introduction of quicksave?

This is pretty much what I was going to say. I'm hoping that multi-mud gamespeak is written on that board too.

Sorry, guys. Unfortunately, MeechMunchie's powers of persuasion are far greater than even he realized, and I have been forced into destroying all work put into Abe HD and replacing it with tasteful graffiti.
You talking about the part with loads of those timed slap mines, and you control a slig and have to shoot slogs that are charging towards you from their kennels? Rag-dolls can be glitchy.. You know games where you shoot someone and they unexpectedly go flying into the air? That's coz they use ragdolls..
And yet it would be hillarious to see slogs flying all over the place. Also the Euphoria engine is unique in that it DOESN'T use ragdolls. At least not in the traditional sense.
