I would suggest waiting a few days before buying the Oddworld Pack, though... just in case the Oddbox is released soon. May as well get all four games in one.

The oddbox is rumored to come out pretty soon It will contain AO, AE, MO and SW in downloadable form. You will thus be able to download them from steam to your PC and play all those games on your PC.

That's amazing, but I hope MO's graphic will be great, or at least better than AE's graphic on PC!

It's debatable, but the 'some reason' is probably that the backgrounds were pre-rendered.

This.
AO and AE's backgrounds were mattes built from scratch with 3D modeling and plenty of image manipulation. It would have taken alot of time, money, and memory - three things OWI didn't have at the time - to recreate that look in a navigable, three-dimensional environment. They certainly did better in that regard with SW though.

I love pre-rendered graphics, they're totally nostalgic.

yeah but even if you look at the 3d cutscenes in AE and AO, the graphics are still better than MO graphics.

Not... really. MO's cutscenes were crisper and smoother, it just lacked the atmosphere of the first two and was too steeped in cartoony slapstick for anyone to notice.

I am ignorant in this; my thought is that MO's graphic isn't good also beacuse it's one of xbox's first games (it came out in 2001, like xbox).
