I'd say it looks more like Mosanic Lines, which swayed my decision towards the Paramite idea (the places have similarities).

What are you talking about? If you want to make a comparison to something from the art book, at the very least give a proper description of it so we know what you're talking about. If nothing else, give a page number.

I heard they see infra red though it was presumed non-oddworld canon since it didn't help them at all in the stockyards and free fire zone, it also failed to explain why sligs can't see abe in shadow zones

I meant seperate images, but grouped so I could get them all at the same time. I was going to use the ASP, but it would take a while to save every one. Plus they've got Abe running around on them and I'd quite like them clean.

It wasn't with Maxis. It was with Jeff Braun, who co-founded Maxis but is no longer part of it. And it wasn't really shelved, it was only ever in a development stage.

The in-game entity certainly died as most enemies do, but it is possible as far as I'm aware) that he recovered and made it out of there in a sufficiently large piece.

But unless his survival is the concept of some fiction you are planning, assume he's dead until proven otherwise. It's both canonically and scientifically sound!
