best game system ever

What do you think it is, I'm going to go with ps1 because it has a big list of classics and it was probaly one of the best things that ever happened to my social life, now my friends and I play xbox when we meet. Second best system is the nintendo since it was the first system I got.

Sega Master System/Mega Drive, PS1 and Xbox.

SNES and N64 had some great great games. I had years of fun on both consoles. Donkey Kong, Mario, Goldeneye. The games that made Nintendo big.

I can actualy see Nintendo walking away as grand winner while Microsoft and Sony are fighting out the console war. They make great games, and the revolution is shaking their kiddie image off.

I'm not that keen on the revolution...the only reason i would have brought the GameCube would have been to play RES4.

I'm all for innovation and creativity, but Nintendo seem to be marketed as such a "We're smart!" company, it's a hard pill to swallow.

I hate to be smart and say "the emulator"... but that aside...

...I'd go with DDR cabinets, since they can hold at least 15 versions of a game I really like (and more recently ITg and ITG2!)

I used to play on Playstation, SNES and Gameboy. If I had to pick the best from those three, it would be Playstation.

Playstation 3 of course. The most powerful gaming console ever at this moment. With disks that doesn't matter much you scratch, smugde, or lick it, it'll still work. It's proven somewhere.

Or mabey it's Pong, the first electronic gaming system ever.

The PS2 had a great list of games, but honestly I haven't played that many games to say which is the best gaming system of any time.

SNES had my favorite game of all time : Mario Paint. I would try and wack that queen fly all day long... and NEVER get to past the second level. But the Nintendo had duck hunt so... for me it is a draw between snes and nes.

No, for me:

1: NES - Sure, there were others, but I think the Nintendo Entertainment System was the first actual console, which could play ALOT of games. And games could be easily installed and played.

2: Xbox - The best of the (then) Next-Gen-Consoles. The best graphics of the 3, and ofcourse the internal Hard-Disk. No more memory cards!

3: Atari - One of the first consoles, and I think this one started it all.

Oddish, yeah the PS3(!)

With it's 4 tetrahertz processor... that needs a liquid nitrogen cooling system. And will explode when it hits 3.7 tetraHz. Yeah(!) Best ever(!)
