Can you imagine how important the music is?

The music is a gigantic heart of tunes, poems, sadness

, happiness

and love

. If the music didn't exist, we would be like the Zombies in Half-Life or even worse.

Some people listen to metal, rock and techno. Others listen to pop, jazz, funk and so on...

I myself listen to almost all kinds of music, rock, pop...

So think how many new songs and hits is popping up everywhere, but also think how may songs that get's popular after 3-10 years, and think what all that music is creating on this small planet.

Gosch you must think I'm talking crap by now, I'll go back to my stereo and listen to Nirvana.

Also it's something to do if you have nothing else to do, you would just pop a cd and it takes away the stress and those hard nasty days.

I've had a small playlist of MxPx/Simple Plan/Bad Religion songs on for a while. I like listening to calm myself down, pass time or try to memorize lyrics while bored.

For mroe classy stuff at school it gives a subject I'm interested in, and a decent hobby that may eventualy earn a career. I have no serious clue where I'd be without it.

Yeah, I do that with almost all my drawings and inkings. I go through my CDs and choose a song or artist that best fits the mood that I'm trying to display in it. Most of the time it really helps.

I was growing my hair long, but mum demanded I got it cut, and it wasn't entirely appropriate for the funeral. Stupid Goodfella's hairdressers, now it looks crap.

I only have 1.5 Gigs of mp3s on my hard drive - everything from chill out and celtique to hard rock (thanks Xav) and Hollywood metal, with electronica, jazz, punk, ska, soundtracks, pop, theatrical, shibuya-kei and comedy in between. I love music. OMG, I haven't opened WinAmp yet!!! *dies*

but I also listen to other things such as Enigma, David Bowie,...
I'm quite open to other styles but I can't listen to: Rap and actual R&B.

I love Music, mostly techno, dance or elctronica, which aree turning into the same thing. I also like Chillout and most rock, other than Thrash Metal.

Why is 2 pac such an influential rapper after he is dead? Is it simply for that reason? How is he any different from the most talented living rapper today? (Whom ever that may be), I’m not here to criticize him but just trying to understand why he is so well respected (but not respected enough for him to still be alive till this day). And why does Rob Trujillo always leave the band he always plays in? Like with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Jerry's Band, Ozzy/Black Label? What's with this dude? Is he going to bite Metallica next? Don't he realize that Metallica have had a rough enough time finding and replacing bass players? Is he doing it for fame? Why is Buckethead never shown on MTV or listened to in the radio? Don't people realize his one of the world's greatest guitarist who ever lived?

Seeing this has become discussable however, I'll leave this one open ... people seem to have some comments on this topic.

As for me, I mainly only listen to FF/Square music as well as some Jrock and Jpop. Lately I've been listening to a lot of .hack//SIGN music as well.

I listen to all kinds of music ranging from alternative to classical. I love to listen to music while I write and draw.......it really helps bring out what I'm thinking onto paper very well.

I remember seeing one of those studies on the news saying that listening to music while you do homework produces better results and helps brain development blah blah.

I don't think I could live without music. Think of how boring movies would be without the suspense music etc....

Hello everyone. I do think that music is very important too. I am always listening to music. If I am on the computer, or travelling by car or bus, or at home. I like a lot of different kinds of music like rock, rap, alternative, classical and a lot more.
