My 3D Oddworld Stuff

Hey all, I recently started playing AE again and wanted to know if there was any forums for Oddwolrd that were still alive and I found this place =] Seems pretty damn good =P

Anyway, I was thinking about making my own small Oddworld multiplayer game but doubt I have the skill to do it. Regardless I went ahead and began modelling. I started off with the Slig. So far I'm 70% done with the head:



It's 1482 tri's aiming for around 5-6000 when its done.

I love very interested, but I prefer seeing the finished product (Textured ect.) which is why I haven't posted yet - Don't worry, we are interested! Please keep posting. It's very good.

Yes, it's awesome. I'm never seen the official 3D slig, but I bet that you'r version is very good clone.

BTW What program are you using?

Done, just need to do the gun, then unwrap, texture, rig then animate ¬_¬





And Grandi I'm using 3dsMax (2008). And it's not very good, its quite inaccurate and overall I'm not very pleased with it :/ I might end up redoing this, I'm not sure yet.

(Also, I'm aware his hands are clipping his legs, I'll sort that out when I rig it.)

Cleaned the mesh and sorted some bits, now the slig itself is complete (modelled) and I'll do the gun tomorrow. =]

Haha thanks Fuzzle Guy, I'm going quite slow though actually I need to speed up. Also it's not that difficult. I've only just turned 16, and if I can do it, anyone can ;P

Yeh I tried Maya and hated it, I just couldnt get around it. So it's 3dsmax for me.
