Personal artwork

This is actually the sequel to the thread "My odd pictures". I made this because I thought the old thread became too full. And secondary, I thought I need a better and more appropriate name for a non-oddworld art thread of mine.

However, I know this thread always becomes fuller in future than my oddworld art thread. It is just my 100% personal artwork. And I think, I always draw them all a little impulsively than the oddworld characters which actually aren't from me. The pictures of this thread are just closer to my heart too. I consider them to be a small representation of my personal expressions as an artist.

Anyway, the pictures with which I start this brand-new thread are here:

"Serious soul-searching"

"The mysterious nonnative"

I plan to color them soon.

Sad Bad news...

The computer with which I used Photoshop got a computer virus yesterday so I must not use it anymore till it's fixed...
Wow, I got pretty hysterical because of this virus. There still are much works of mine which aren't finished yet and which I can't send via e-Mail to my own computer and which I can't burn on a CD because of that stupid virus. And now they are on the verge of deleting themself... Aaaarrgh! Maybe I worked for days and weeks for nothing!

No!

Does this mean you can't show any pictures anymore, till then? Not even oddworld pictures?

It's a great pity... Really.

I'm glad you like my pictures!

Finally(!) my computer is ok again.
So now I have to make up many new pictures...

This is the Priestess again:

When I thought about the look of her mother then I used this to draw that at last:.

(So when I will draw the father of that creature in my first post of this thread then I'll use this for inspiration.)

When I was (weirdly) happy then I doodle this here:

After that I began to like that one little sprite in the middle, down of the paper.
And I thought he would be the perfect leader of a trio of rascals. This picture isn't finished yet but it would look like this:

When I drawed this last picture I felt... just lonely. I was reminding of some bad experiences and I tried to catch the feelings of it which I had when I was a kid. Because I had a hard childhood...

I don't want to get some pity or something because I said that.
I just want to let you know about the inspiration of that one last picture. It was just a sketch with which I tried to catch some feelings of mine into a picture. Sometimes I can make peace with the elapsed happenings so.

Wow, I can't choose which one will be my favorite! I love them all, the priestess, her mother, your crazy sketch, your trio... even the last, sad picture I do love in a strange way!

I also like to see artists which show where they got their inspirations from. That's interesting to know for me.

Good drawings there. The PhotoShop'ed one looks great. That fog-like effect takes the character out from the background nicely, and the colors are good too.

Thanks. You know, if you really love to draw then it doesn't matter how long a picture takes untill it's finished.

I can't help, I like fog.^^ It also did suit the mysterious, dangerous priestess.

Okay, this is a sketch of many strange animals now.
Perhaps it could be inspiring for all artists of you but, to say the truth, I just doodled those creatures when I was bored, hehe.

I was just about to say that looks like something I'd doodle during a class....
Great job! The amount of creativity put into those is awesome.

Good job, Stranger's Maid! (...even it's "just" a sketch out of boredom)
I like that frowning cat creature. The other ones are cool too.
That animal with antlers between the blue-colored creatures in the middle of the paper looks specially crazy, hehe!

Okay, those are sketches of two members of my invented trio which I drew before. I don't have names for them yet.

1. The girl which can do everything pretty ably.
2. The strongman for everything hardly. I thought about giving him a tatoo on his arm but I don't have any ideas about its look yet.

Thanks!
Well, his expression and his look is almost seaman-like.
So I thought: Every seaman have some tatoos on their strong arms!

...but, at last, I couldn't find a matching seaman tatoo yet which was not an anchor or a naked mermaid.
