I could add the whole 'how this beastie was made..' but it would clog the page...ah, what the hell;
Description; The indisputable ruler of the Hive, this colossal creature was originally created to be a war-faring genetic weapon. The galaxy parliament, due to suffering extreme losses in a past Galactic war with the Polopanzas, opened the ‘defensive’ research, where the scientists where suppose to create a new war-faring monster, that could adapt to any environment, and would be near impossible to stop. Unfortunately, the monster proved to powerful to be contained and broke free of the experiment facility from where it was birthed. From then, it escaped by overriding a space cruisers systems and escaping from the planets. From there, the creature, only known as the ‘Queen’, crash-landed on an small outer planet, with a population of 54 million. From there, the Queen proceeded to infect the whole population. The scientists, by making her be able to adapt to any environment, made her able to ‘up-grade’ herself. Thus she was able to force herself to be able to make ‘eggs’ and then her underlings spread over the planet, making it their ‘home’. The Queen and her young where giving the name ‘the Hive’ due to their ability to think and see as one. This means, that all of the Dek’Vorhs are connected to each other via mental link, and once one of then sees someone, they all see that person. This also means that they are able to come to each others aid if they are in battle.
The Queen is the mother of all creatures know as Dek’Vorhs, and they obey her commands without hesitation. She produces eggs, which soon split open to admit new Dek’Vorhs, and she can also infect creatures with her tails.
Body structure; Its body is made up of different compounds and types of flesh. Its skull is made from thick, bullet-proof steel-like skin, making it an ideal shield. The purple/blue orb on the beasts head allow her to communicate telepathically with her underlings and children, so if she ever need help, they would mentally sense her command, and come to the beasts aid. She has six eyes, though she usually has only three activated at a time. She can has extraordinary vision, able to see clearly at night, even in storms. The creature has no ears, but uses her orb to detect vibrations in the air, so she can easily locate others using dolphin-like sonar. Her teeth where welded into her jaw, so they are titanium sharpened to vicious points, capable of breaking through any substance. She has different tongues, able to change them at will. One is serpentine, able to detect a animals body heat. Another is like a hand, used to swallow small prey alive. The last is long and thin, able to ‘see’ what has previously happened in an area. She has an extremely high sense of smell, able to detect any creature within a 5 kilometer radius. Her torso is covered in flame-retardant fur, making her immune to any fire-based weaponry. The fur thins and grows hard upon the back of her wings, protecting the inner flight veins. Her front legs are bird like, with the scales made from a gold based substance, mixed with copper and other metals, making them extremely tough and bullet-proof. Her claws are capable of tearing through even armored ship hulls. Her front arms are skeletal, and are used as melee weapons, and also used to create magic and charms. She has a colossal amount of magical energy, making her a vicious opponent towards other charmed based creatures. Her back half is a more ‘soft’ skin, with a rubber like texture, meaning bullets simply ‘bounce’ off her flesh. Her hip, knee spikes and claws are extremely durable and sharp.
Characteristics; The Queen is also imprinted with her off-springs genetic blue-prints, making her able to ‘up-grade’ her young. She does this by using her charmed arms and mental links to force the genetic mutations upon them. These include reinforcing amour, and various breath attacks, e.g flame, ice, even acid spit. She can also use these to up-grade her unborn eggs, making the Dek’Vorhs within stronger and more durable to battle.
The Queen can also distend her abdomen, meaning she can create new Dek’Vorhs warriors anywhere, to help turn the tide in battles. However when she is attached to her egg sack, she is immobile.
The Dek’Vorh Queen also produces a sticky substance from her pores, which remain stuck to creatures and are extremely hard to get off. These enable Dek’Vorhs to hunt their prey over long distances. The sweat also defeat invisible based amour and other cloaking devices.
Her tail sacks are filled with a venom-like substance which causes a creature, that has been stabbed, to ’transform’ into a Dek’Vorh. The venom goes into the creatures blood stream and quickly goes up into the creatures brain. There, the venom mutates the brain, re-wiring the brains structure, and linking it to the Queen, thus creating a new Dek’Vorh solider.
She, and also all her off-spring, are highly intelligent, while the Queen uses her telepathic abilities to communicate with her young, they are able to ‘speak’ with each other through a mixture of sounds like snarling and hisses, making it impossible for other creatures to translate. Dek’Vorhs, unlike their mother, are able to uses blades, saws, even guns, due to their heightened intelligence. They also know how to over-ride locks and ship defense systems.
Strengths; The Queen is over-all a extremely dangerous creature, capable of killing most targets with one bone-shattering blow. Her abnormal body structure makes her incredibly tough and nigh invulnerable to any attack, whether it be by charm, or guns. She also has the ability to fly quickly, meaning escaping from this creatures is impossible. Her massive size also means she can tear apart buildings without bothering about being injured. Her ability to create new soldiers in the heat of battle means she is never without defense. Her eye sight, sense of smell, and telepathic abilities makes her the perfect war machine.
Weakness; The Queen was designed to be the perfect weapon, and therefore her creators made her almost impossible to be killed. The one weakness she has, is when she is connected to her egg sack, she is unable to move, meaning her opponents may be able to get in a first shot, then flee before she is able to react. However, if she feels at all threaten, she can simply tear herself free and charge her attackers. So in all, she can only be defeated by over-whelming force.
Dietary; The Queen, like her offspring, prefer to have her food alive. Unlike her children, who devour their prey slowly, she either tears her food apart , or swallows it whole. She rarely hunts for herself, instead her children bring her food to her. If the prey is big enough, however, she would devour it alive.
