My PCs an ancient dinosaur (7 years old, 2.17 GHz single core, Radeon 9800 Pro, 1GB RAM, Windows XP SP 2) and seems to run it perfectly okay, although sometimes it gets some framerate issues but it's still perfectly playable in windowed mode with the settings set to low. I can even run Spotify in the background while playing without it affecting performance too much. It runs like treacle when I try to play it in fullscreen, though.
Did you find this thread?
I find it weird that it looks like a retro ancient DOS game from the early 1990s, but it requires a fast PC to run it. :P I know the retro-look is part of its art style, but I do wonder why it's so intensive on processing power. Surely randomly generating a world made from little blocks could be done without using so much? However, I suppose it shows that a good game doesn't need impressive graphics to make it good.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and...
I died many times getting these words in the sky. (I quickly discovered that you can jump and place blocks below you and get as high as you want that way - Gravel and sand collapses if you remove the bottom block, so if you fall and die it's easy to remove your pillar after you respawn)
It means I can see my house for miles, though.
Tiny cabin I made last night that I built on my spawn point.
Inside. Multiple ovens mean that I can smelt iron faster!
