I'm still trying to come up with game mechanics that work for my RF adventure map. In fact for those who haven't seen my thread lately, mind popping in a giving some feedback on my "Saving mudokons" mechanic? (I came up with a new one)

I love every aspect of it DH and wish my shitty laptop was as good as your machine...

I seriously need that money, I hate delays.

EDIT: I am surprised over the fact of what you have accomplished just unhinged my senses and made me think of a greater time where I could play games freely on my dad's desktop, that thing was a beast and he didn't use it for what it's worth.

I just finished making an automated gun using someone from Wellington's institute of technologies mini-gun style circuit which took some tweaking to get both the one at the top working with the one down below, I eventually moved the other one because I couldn't dig further to compensate for the circuit being built over with my stone. It is now a circuit that goes right around it and you'll notice that in this picture probably:



Oh and honestly, I know NOTHING about circuits to make my own unless I experimentally fix them for a large sum of time... You could say I know a basic part of it to make me go by and by the way I did not actually steal the whole design of his circuit, just the parallel clock, I think that's what you call it (correct me if I am wong).

EDIT: I have been working on my friends map for a while now and finally found out how to stop my minecraft from lagging, just needed to install Optifine 1.2.3

MAtmos is cool, I've been using it as part of the Technic Pack. The worst/best thing about it? The sound you hear the nearer you get to bedrock.

I'm now using the singleplayer commands for minecraft, it's going good so far with my too many items mod.

I also use Optifine because my laptop has a shitty gfx chipset.

Well with the commands I just bind the v key to no-clip (Like in Garry's Mod), so yeah, you can say it's WAY better than creative mode.

1. Install the single player commands mod for Minecraft 1.2.3 (or version that you have).

2. In game press the chat button (that you assign in the controls menu via the esc button)

3. Type in: /bind [key here]*space*[command here] for example: /bind v fly

4. Enjoy!

EDIT: Found out what you are looking for Crash, F Toggled render distance (fog), changed to F3+F in Beta 1.8.

Other note: "I just realized shift+F2 will generate an almost 2 gb large screenshot in 1.2_02. Half-finished huge screenshot test code". -Notch

Here is my design for a memory unit that can store one byte. It was the most annoying and tedious thing I've ever built.



Also, my texture pack is coming along. I need to think up some ideas for the new Sandstones now that 1.2.4 is out.



The idea is to make ores supervisible and everything else really well defined.

I was glad to hear about the new decorative blocks. The addition of new plank textures is good news. Not sure how the colour of the bark is supposed to affect the colour of the wood itself, but oh well.

The pine planks being dark is ridiculous and the lack of coloured slabs and steps is extremely annoying.

The coloured planks are fine. To demand they make some kind of our-world logic is hilarious. But having non-matching stairs in particular is ugly.

Some months ago I showed some screenshots of Monsaic Lines. People seemed positive and I worked on it a little bit more, but somewhere along the way I lost interest.

The Easter holidays are approaching and wanted to know if I should continue or abandon the project. I don't want to take focus away from DarkHoodness' work, the projects have no relation.


















So, should I continue or not?
