Everyone needs to play Destroy All Humans! While listening to Tonetta.

Sometimes, I swear, that dude is an alien himself. The illegal kind.

I finally decided to dust off my PS Vita and buy something from the PSN Store and what a coincidence, the PS1 classics arrived late last month to the store! So yeah, I got a 20 euro PSN money thing and put it on my virtual wallet. I already bought MediEvil, thinking of getting Kula World and Crash Bandicoot 3. Any recommendations? I think I saw the first Resident Evil and Abe's Oddysee there too.

So I went back on MGS3 after a little while not playing and a cutscene played when I loaded my save. To cut it short, The Boss shot me and now I'm all the way back in that bloody lab. >_<

And Dynamithix. If they have it on the store, what about the 3 Spyro games? maybe even the other 2 Crash games and the racing one?

Yeah, it's Resident Evil Directors Cut. Buy it, you've probably played it, so you know how good it is.

If you're into JRPGS, Final Fantast VII. It's a classic.

If not, Spyro 2. It's a classic.

If not either of those, fuck you.

Crash 2.

I wouldn't say I don't like JRPG's, I just can't really get into them. Also, the Spyro games aren't available in the Europe PSN store apparently. But I did get Kula World and Rayman though, still have about 10 euros to spend.

I think you can download Einhander, great shmup if you're into that kind of thing.
I would suggest trying Final Fantasy VI if it's available. I believe the PS1 iteration was called Final Fantasy Anthology. I've been bingeing on JRPG's all summer, and it is absolutely the most engaging and interesting and I can see it being a good introduction to enjoying the genre.
FFVII is a worthy purchase as well, but it's quite different from VI as far as mechanics go and might be a little cumbersome if you just want a more straightforward, approachable RPG experience. I'd probably try it anyway and just look up a guide.
FFIX is the greatest of them all and has so much shit for people who played the previous games it's just the absolute best. It's also touching and wonderful and yadda yadda it's Ten bucks/euros (buckos) maybe you should get it.
Front Mission 3 is a badass tactics mech game that lets you customize your units in a very non confusing way. That's what was important to me. Strike Witch can tell you more about how great it is.
MediEvil is wonderful and a genuine classic. Totally worth it.
I see Jumping Flash! is available in the EU, so I'll suggest it but not recommend it since I have never played, just heard things. It's a First Person platformer game that's supposed to be wacky as fuck. Rare in its original iteration too. Some other suggestions:
Grandia; it's another approachable, easy to enjoy JRPG.
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver; supposed to be pretty darn good.

Edit: I'm playing Giants: Citizen Kabuto when my shitfuck puppy isn't chewing my cables/limbs.

I always wanted to play Destroy All Humans, but never got around to it.
I like that game and the sequel. They are quite amusing games, I like being able to read peoples minds and make them levitate (or throw them into a car!)

I've been playing GUN, Game Dev Story and Fallen Earth. All enjoyable little games.

Preordered (and preloaded) Torchlight 2 today. This also means that I now own Torchlight one, which I started outside of the demo.

So far I'm really loving it. Having to actually target specific enemies for attacks to land reliably is a tad annoying after playing a monk in D3 for the last few months. The socketing system is interesting, giving you the option to destroy the gear and retrieve the gem or destroy the gem and retrieve the gear.

I'm playing on hard in my first runthrough and am a tad more reliant on preemptive health-potting than I'd like to be. I'm not even level 10, but I can see this game holding my interest for a long time.

It's a huge pity about the lack of MP. It would be a great game to blast through coop with a friend.

Time will tell, really. I was really excited about D3 for the first half of my first playthrough, too. I've burned out in Act 3 knowing that every item I farm at this point is just to get me strong enough to start farming inferno to be able to farm inferno better and reach Paragon 100 faster. Playing the same game 4 times just isn't as fun as it could have been.

According to Wikipedia they were available once, but were taken down when a bug which made Spyro 2 freeze appeared, and then they never put them back up.

Seriously? Ha! I still have them installed on my PS3. Cool.

Also, I've been playing through Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. I love this game. Everything about it is just great. The engaging battlesystem, which is a perfect mix of action and strategy; the hilarious writing, which can get pretty damn clever and disgusting at points; the brilliant characters, which are all really fun to watch; just a great game overall. I love exploring the BeanBean Kingdom and stomping on farty beans.

Oh, man. I love this game. I used to play it all the time. Those smartie aliens were just hilarious. The Giant levels were beyond great, too. I miss that game.

If Torchlight doesn't satiate your lust for clicking things until they drop gold, I''d really recommend Titan Quest. Its main selling point is it isn't randomised.

I have finally completed Pikmin. Not "finally" in the sense of it having been an ongoing project of mine; rather, I've had it since launch and never completed it. This is despite the fact that at release, reviews commented on it being rather easy. I imagine that 10 years ago, I just wasn't patient or strategic enough to complete it. For what it's worth, I got all thirty ship parts in twenty days, which I don't think is too shabby for a first playthrough, although it seems absolutely mind-blowing that the record is six days.

Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and I've heard that the sequel is meant to be a marked improvement. It's also made me look forward to the upcoming third game.

I've had it since launch, and yeah never beaten it 100%, though I've gotten it pretty far. Haven't tried in years, though. I might have to dust it off and give it a go.

So other people are supposed to drop whatever the fuck they are doing, play a remake of an old ass game, online, just so you can get 20 minutes of enjoyment before you go back to eating your bagel bites dipped in easymac?!!

I'm thinking he was just disappointed by the lack of UYA fanbase these days. Which is pretty understandable, I mean, it is and old-ass game.

They're probably busy playing Call of Duty and Battlefield and Callfield and DutyBattle
