1 the american version of MO had some SoBe advertising in it and the European version don't

Firstly, questions of this nature should be asked in the Oddworld Q&A thread, otherwise they tend to clutter up General Discussion. As for your answers...

1. The games are all pretty much the same. The American version of MO has slightly different 'number graphics' (that is, the font of the amount of Spooce shown above Abe and Munch), and some of their 'Healt Ups' are actually SoBe Vendos.

2. Abe is the hero of the Quintology, so all that Quintology games will feature him. His story will only become resolved (or possibly not...) at the end of the Quintology. Now, outside of the Quintology Abe doesn't have to take such a pivatol role in the game. In fact, he's not appearing in Steef at all.

3. Pardon me?

4. Steef and the next two Oddworld games following it will be Xbox Xclusive, just like Munch. They will not be ported or recreated on any other console until their liscence runs out, which is going to be some time away. However, there is a Munch's Oddysee coming out on GBA soon-ish.

4. We will visit Meeches and see how they lived, although it's unknown whether they will actually be resurrected from apparent extinction, or whether we will see them in flashbacks. Hand of Odd was, at some point, going to be based in Oddworld's past, so we might have seen Meeches around back then.

You remember Anna who used to be here? She used to use the nick Acherontan Annarchy. Anyway, I was studying a magazine about Chakras and Time-Slip experiences at school. I was in one of the Latin classrooms, because my RS class was going through the RS exam which I hadn't taken, and I couldn't be expected to cheat, now, could I. Anyway, the word Acherontan caught my eye because I was so familiar to it, it was on a poster depicting the Ancient Greek cycle of life (with the River Styx and all that). I can't remember what Acherontan was exactly, but it was a fire. It's not anything to do with Oddworld, in case you're wondering. There's another word which I found quite familiar and made a note of, but I can't find the note. I'll look for it, and some link that describes Acherontan in a while.

Aha, you mean Gamespeak in MO. Yes, that was one of its greatest failings, the fact that when you possess a character, any gamespeaking you do is insults and egotism. The answer to why was it left out has been answered about three times in the last week, just try looking about a bit.

And to summarize Steef? Well, he's a bounty hunter who has to keep in disguise. He has a crossbow device fixed to his arm so it remains hidden most of the time, and it fires seeking darts and skunk bombs. Most of the time he tries to keep a poker face, but a lot of what he communicates actually comes via his facial expressions. For some reason, there are several hunters who are chasing Steef. He also has some connection with his boat and to the 'townsfolks' which are arogant hillbilly types that look like chickens. Beyond that it's pretty much speculation. Try looking at the other topics related to Steef.

well thats the way they speak, they say usefull things and sligs do wath they want, it's a form of communication (better than MO)
